Scott licked his lips while he turned around once more. His room was one big mess since he had spent one and a half hour opening each and every closet and box. He still had not found his lacrosse hoodie. He knew that coach would kill him if he had lost it.
If coach wouldn't be able to come up with something worse, that was.
"Damn, your room has always been quite a mess, but this is extreme, even for you."
Scott took a deep breath. He didn't even need to turn around to recognize your voice. "I know." He crossed his arms over his chest. "Hey, have you seen the..?" He turned around and he wasn't sure if he should curse or smile. "Oh."
You casually leaned against the doorframe. Even though the hoodie was way too big for you, it did look good on you. Or maybe it mostly looked good on you, because Scott knew that right now you were wearing his name on your back. "What were you looking for?" You stepped forward and you wrapped your arms around his neck while you leaned on the tips of your toes to kiss his lips.
"Actually, I just found it." Scott eventually decided to grin while he slid his arms around your waist to kiss you back. "It looks good on you." He tapped the tip of your nose and you bit your lip.
"I'm so sorry! I should have told you that I had taken it. It's just..." You paused for a moment. "It still smells like you. I like to wear it on the nights you're not there."
Scott nodded and he shrugged his shoulders. He knew all too well that there were quite a lot nights he wasn't there because something came up and he had to be there for the pack. "It's okay. I was just afraid I had lost it."
"You didn't."
"No, I didn't."
