Erika woke up to a decietful screech . She sighed realising that damned window had once again opened itself during the night "i hate that thing " she mumbled swinging her blanket off her and jumping off her bed almost slamming the window shut . She sulked and hopped downstairs smelling that heartwarming smell of... PANCAKES!!! She virtually sprinted down the stairs taking two at a time almost tripping as she hit the floor. Hard. She twisted her ankle and fell screaming . She shrieked after she tried to stand up and her foot gave way.
Her mum ran in kneeling by Erika holding her forehead repeatedly asking " are you ok?!?" . "Yes" Erika managed to mumble between quick breaths of shock . Her dad walked in slowly a slight smirk on his face , he was eating pancakes "Erika" he sighed , "you need to take the stairs one at a time , and since you've hurt yourself you have to only have soup " he grinned . Erika glared at him with a look that could kill a man, and he backed out slowly "its ok , ill give you extra pancakes infront of him so he gets jealous "her mum laughed.
* 5 minute time skip*
Sat at the table eating pancakes Erika thought about the adorable girl she had seen and sulked at the fact she couldnt see the girl for 2 more days . " whats wrong ? " her mum questioned sitting next to Erika looking at her with worry in her eyes . Erika looked up and plastered a nonchalant smile on her face " its just... crush troubles " . "Ohhh i catch your drift, well i dont because i have your father but...um...i do know how it feels ... so who's the lucky girl!?! " her mum whispered excitedly . Erikas dad walked in , he glared at the extra pancakes that Erika got and hugged Erika from behind trying his best to embarass her in some way . "DAD , STOP" erika exclaimed giggling trying to pull his arms away.
There was a loud knock at the door " i wonder who that may be" her mum hummed walking out to answer the door.
