It had been a whole week since the first day at Lion and Katie was planning to bring Ashurie over to her house. She wanted Ashurie to move into one of the guest rooms because he lived at the school. Katie wanted to make sure her father liked her friend before asking the question.
Right now, it was 10:00a.m. and Katie, Ashurie, Bethany, Sarah, and Marcus were all entering science. Marcus and Ashurie were chatting about how ridiculous their fight was last week. "Oh, my God. That was so stupid. Getting angry over some name callin'," Ashurie exclaimed while laughing.
"I know, right? What was up with that?" Marcus added.
"I'm really glad you two made up," Katie praised. "Thank god, you didn't continued."
"Yeah," Sarah pitched in.
Once all the students sat down at one of the tables, the teacher began class. "Morning class," she said.
"Morning, Professor Meyers," the students replied.
"Alright, today, we will start our brewing chapter. In this chapter, you will learn how to make potions that make people become confused, become sick, become happy, sad, angry, crazy, wild, courageous, and sadly, yes girl's, fall in love. But you need to know how to use these brews wisely," Professor Meyers.
"Yes, Professor Meyers," the students answered.
"Wonderful, now, your table will need to work as a group to create this brew. Each person will have three jobs. Just let me check that all your tables have the right amount of people," the professor explained.
While she was counting the students, Katie's table had already gotten their textbooks out.
"Ashurie, your table is the only one without two other people. Wait a moment, were are Jake and Luke?" Professor Meyers asked. Jake and Luke were twins who were Weapon Magic majors, often known for being late.
"Right here, Professor!" they exclaimed while running through the doorway, panting.
"Sorry for being late," Luke said. "This time, we have a good excuse."
"Let's here it," she retorted.
Jake was the one who spoke this time, "We were stopped by the Grand Wizard. He asked us if we wanted to join an all weapon Magic major team." The Grand Wizard was the head wizard of the Wizard Council. He was the wisest, let's not forget that.
"Very well, you'll have to sit with this table since the others are full," the professor said while pointing were Katie's table was.
Yes! The twins thought. They both had had their eyes set on Katie for quite a few days, now. The pair walked over to the table and both took the chairs next to her.
"Hey," Jake and Luke said together.
"Hi," Katie replied.
"Class, open your books to page 31. Divide the jobs into three jobs each and have someone from you table come get the ingredients," Professor Meyer left the rest to the class and went onto do some paperwork.
"I'll go get the ingredients for ya', Katie," Luke said slyly.
"No need," Ashurie put in while still reading the directions. Suddenly, the ingredients were on the table.
"How'd you-?" Bethany questioned.
"Shadow Magic, duh," he replied.
"Oh."
