It was Tuesday, and Katie, Ashurie, Jake, and Taylor had taken on their first mission for the team. Their mission was to meet team Sharp, which was the all Weapon Magic major Jake and Luke were offered to join. Team Sharp had sent a note to the Grand Wizard that the needed help in their mission. They had gone to the city, Phantom, to capture or, in drastic measures, kill Pigeon Blood.
Pigeon Blood was a murderer who recently began her murders. Her name was given because of what she would do. Pigeon Blood would first kill the person, kill a pigeon, then last of all, leave a Pigeon Blood gem.
Ashurie's group of four had just arrived to Phantom. Their first plan was to get information on Pigeon Blood then find team Sharp. "Alright guys," Taylor began, "If even team Sharp needs help, then Pigeon Blood must be a real tough opponent."
"Yeah," Jake replied. Let's split up into pairs and start asking people about Pigeon Blood."
"Kay!" Katie said with a cheerful face. Of course Ashurie and Katie teamed up so Jake and Taylor went as a pair. "So, Ashurie, ya' think it's odd that we're already doing a mission during the second week of school?"
"Meh, not really. I mean, there are a lot of bad things in the world," Ashurie explained.
"True," Katie added.
While Ashurie and Katie went onto asking people questions, Jake and Taylor did the same.
"Thank you, sir," Taylor said. They turned away from the shop owner and walked off. "Damn! These people don't have anything useful for us."
"Give it some time, Tay," Jake abbreviated.
"Hey!" the two wizards turned around, only to see someone from team Sharp. His name was Shawn, "Thank God I found ya'll!"
"What happened?" Jake asked.
"Nothing good," Shawn confessed. "Our team leader, Athena, is crying and no one has ever seen her cry." Athena had been named after the great mythology goddess, Athena, because her parents knew she would be truly strong. "Come on. I'll show you were she is, come on."
Shawn took them around a corner, down an alley to where Athena sat crying, with everyone around her. "Athena?" Taylor began. "What happened?" Taylor was close friends with the teams leader because her brother was dating Athena.
"It was horrible," Athena said between sobs. "She attacked us, Pigeon Blood was so powerful. Not to mention her accomplice." Athena paused and continued to cry.
"Wait a minute, where's Nicholas?" Taylor questioned with worry. Nicholas was Taylor's only brother, the one who was dating Athena.
"That's what I'm crying about! Pigeon Blood bit down on his arm and injected venom into him. Now, Nicholas is in the infirmary. They're so busy, that we can interrupt Nicholas."
"Damn it!" Taylor yelled. She got up and turned to Jake. "Come on, we gotta find out more about Pigeon Blood."
"Wait a sec," Jake felt a vibration in his pocket. It was his phone, which he right away answered. "Yeah?"
"Hey, it's me, Katie. We've met a guy who has a lot a' info on Pigeon Blood. He can even show us where her last attack was."
"Great, I'll tell Tay," Jake finished before hanging up the phone. "Tay, Ashurie and Katie found a guy who could tell us about Pigeon Blood. Come on!"
