Lauren woke up from the right side of her bed with a very big smile planted on her face.

"August 12," she whispers, smiling at herself. "Gosh, I can't wait," she says dreamingly, imagining a date with her older sister.

"Can't wait for what?" She heard someone say. Lauren started looking around, trying to find where the voice came from. "Look here, I'm in the bathroom," the voice laughed. The girl with the brown hair looked to her right, directly to the bathroom.

Her smile went wider, "Lisa?"

The girl in the bathroom nodded, walking towards her girlfriend.

"Happy birthday, baby," she greeted her girlfriend, kissing her on the lips.

"Why are you smiling so big?" Lisa giggles, knowing the reason why but decided to ask anyway, just to tease her sister.

"Is it bad to be happy on your birthday?" Lauren asks sarcastically.

"I didn't say that," Lisa laughs. Lauren rolled her eyes, stopping herself from grinning and cheeks burning, "chill, I'm just messing with you. I know why you're smiling," Lisa smirks.

"Oh please, sister, Don't be such a 'feeler', I'm just really happy 'cause I'm now officially an adult," Lauren reasons.

"Shut up. I know you're whipped," Lisa teases, earning a punch from Lauren.

"Fuck you," Lauren curses, earning a laugh from her older sister.

"Later, baby." Lisa says seductively on Lauren's ear, making the other girl's cheeks burn more.

"Girls! Get down here now! Laur and Chris will be blowing the cake in just a couple minutes!" The girl who birthed them shouted from downstairs, receiving answers like "okay!" Or like "coming!"

"Let's go?" Lisa asks, Lauren nods.

They both went out of Lauren's room, heading downstairs.

Lisa tried so much to stop herself from pulling Lauren's hand to hers, intertwining them, knowing they can't do that in front of their family since no one knows about them.

They both reached the last step and walked into their backyard where everyone else was.

"Here comes the birthday girl!" Michael, the head of the family shouts.

"Lauren! Happy birthday, Sugar!" Dani ran to Lauren, pulling her in a very tight hug. Lisa looks at them, jealousy starting to get over her even if she knows they're just really close because of their age. "Here's my gift for you," Dani hands her a small box wrapped in a yellow paper with ribbons tied to it. Lauren pulled the ribbon off, ripping off the wrapper. She opens the box and her jaw dropped.

"This isn't true, is it?" Lauren says, a hand covering her mouth, "you're kidding me."

"It's true!" Dani shouted, smiling widely at her older sister.

"Oh my gosh!" Lauren exclaimed, picking up the paper and running over to hug Dani again, "Thank you so much, Dan! I love you so much!" Lauren says happily, kissing Dani's forehead.

"Ehem," someone cleared her throat, "Let's get to the blowing of cakes, should we?" Lisa says, jealous of Dani.

"Yeah, you're right," Lauren says pulling away from the hug but still smiling, but Lisa ignored her. That's when her smile dropped.

"Happy birthday, my birthday twin!" Lauren says, walking over to Christina to hug her. "I'll give you my birthday gift to you, later, alright?"

"You don't have to, Lauren, I should be the one giving you a gift since I'm older than you," she smiles, pulling back from the hug. Lauren smiles back at her, but can't take off the scene earlier with Lisa, making her frown. "Hey, you okay?" Looks like Christina noticed the sudden change of Lauren's mood.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Lauren chuckles it off, "just remembered something."

Amy and Katherine greeted Lauren and Christina as well, giving their gifts to them. The other Cimorelli boys greeted them too, as well as giving them both gifts.

Now they are all seated at their table, eating food their mom made.

"Lauren, I heard your childhood crush David is in town right now," Lynne says, smirking at Lauren. Lisa shifts uncomfortably on her seat, remembering the day Lauren cried over David because she saw David holding another girl's hand.

Lauren's eye lit up, "Really?" She asks excitedly, still not over him since he's her first crush.

"You still haven't gotten over him? He already broke your heart without him even knowing it and yet you still like him? The fuck," Lisa curses, rolling her eyes and frustrated at how Lauren acted when she heard David's name. Lauren can't help but smile because of Lisa. She's jealous and she's loving it. It proves that Lisa really likes her.

"Lisa! You're in front of food. Show at least some respect!" Their dad scolds.

"I lost appetite," Lisa says standing up and going out of the table.

"What's her problem?" Christina asked.

"Probably just her period. Let me talk to her," Katherine says, attempting to stand up but Lauren beats her to it.

"I'll just talk to her. I know how to calm her down at times like this," everyone nodded and continues to eat while Lauren went upstairs and to Lisa's room; the four other girls still have their rooms even if they don't live there. She reached her sister's door, softly knocking.

"Who's this?" Lisa shouts.

Lauren clears her throat before shouting back a, "Lauren."

"Why did you follow me? Go eat downstairs. I see you still haven't eaten a lot," Lisa says, still caring despite the incident earlier, making Lauren smile.

"I'm not hungry anymore. Can you now open the door?" Lauren says, praying for Lisa to say the words she's expecting to hear.

She heard her sister sigh before answering her, "Fine. Come in."

She opens the door and sits beside Lisa who's now seated on her bed.

"What's wrong?" Lauren asks looking at her girlfriend's eyes, "did I do something wrong?"

"Really?" Lisa asks, "just because of a Melanie Martinez ticket you're already so happy that you even kissed Dani's forehead?" Lisa asks sassily earning a giggle from Lauren.

"Melanie Martinez is my life, I love her so much!"

"More than you love me?" Lisa asks, avoiding the brunette's gaze.

Lauren giggled, and even if Lisa's still mad, she can't help but smile at how cute her girlfriend is. "Can it be equal?" Lisa's knuckle came in contact with Lauren's shoulder, not happy at how Lauren's acting right now. "Chill Lise, I'm just kidding," Lauren laughs. "I still love you more." Lisa smiled. "So, are we now okay?" Lauren asks hopefully.

"How is it that you're making it too hard to stay mad at you? I hate you," lisa whines.

"No you don't. In fact, you love me. Right? Well that's what I heard from your mouth yesterday," Lauren teased even more, making the girl in front of hers' cheeks burn.

"Not gonna lie, that's true. I love you," Lisa says tilting her head slightly to lean forward and kiss her girlfriend. Their lips moved in sync, both of them smiling and not wanting to pull away ever. After what felt like eternity but in reality is just a few seconds, they both pulled back, smiling at each other like idiots. There was a moment of silence where they are just both looking at each other; foreheads touching, when Lauren decided to break it saying, "I love you too."
