It all happened too fast. The next thing Lauren knew, she was already in the park where she usually goes to when she's got a lot of thinking to do. She sat down on one of the benches at the place.

Parker returned the paper to Lauren, neatly folded. She didn't want to open it at the moment, so she just stared at it. That's when she saw a few signs that the paper was gray and old already. She didn't even realize or know she had that paper. That Lisa wrote a letter to her before she left.

It's a good bye letter... With a lot of 'I love you's' in it.

She shook her head, running her hand through her hair. She didn't let her eyes leave the paper she's talking ahold of, her head hanging low. It was no denying that she still likes Lisa, well love. But she knows she needs to move on and forget about her feelings one day. She already has a husband and a child. A family.

What if Lisa comes back, unforeseen and asks her to just go back to her? Of course she can't do that. She can't just leave her family. Even if she knows deep inside, that's something she'd been waiting for.

She was about to open the letter from her older sister, when she heard a voice she never thought she'd hear again. Shit.

"Lauren?" Someone called from near her. She didn't want to raise her head up. She's sure of that voice.

It's from her.

But she can't help it. It's as if her body is moving without her mind do she looked up.

"Lisa," Lauren whispered, but this time, it wasn't a question.

"Oh my gosh," Lisa said, a smile not daring to leave her face, "I missed you."

Before Lauren even had time to react, the other girl already pulled her in a hug, making her stood up. Lauren smiled, hugging back.

But, this was all too much. When she thought she's already moving on and finally starting to have a new life, here comes the girl she once fell in love with, bringing back all over again.

They pulled away after what felt like eternity, just smiling at each other.

"Gosh. You don't know how much I missed you," Lisa said, still smiling so big. Lauren couldn't help but smile too despite the feeling and thoughts she's having right now.

"I missed you too so much, Lisa," Lauren answered back, smiling. "Since when did you come back? It's really good to see you again."

"Just yesterday. I was looking for an apartment to live to, y'know."

"Do the others know you're back? They all missed you too, for sure," Lauren nodded, sitting down the bench again. Lisa did the same, sitting beside her.

"Oh yeah. I came to visit the Cimorelli house yesterday but sadly you're not there. You're literally the only one who's not there," Lisa said disappointedly, but she tried to hide her disappointment and failed.

"What?" Lauren said shocked, "no one even contacted me."

"Well, let's forget about that," Lisa said, placing a hand on Lauren's thigh and there comes the stupid butterflies again. "How're you?"

"I'm doing fine," Lauren answered, avoiding to mention her family. "Not that I'm mad you came back but, why?"

Lisa chuckled, and Lauren internally cursed when her heart started beating fast again, "I came back for you."

Lauren wasn't sure if she heard the right thing so she asked again, "what?"

"I came back to see you. For you," Lisa admitted, grabbing Lauren's hand. Lauren wanted so bad to pull away, but it's as if she can't do it at all.
