Jasmine's Jewel

This is a Christmas special for Jasmine and Lila. I also won't be updating the story till after Christmas. Merry Christmas everyone!

Jasmine(POV)

OMG! OMG! What the world should I do?! I thought as I saw a holographic map being punched into the wall near me by some girl from the other side of the hallway. Lila had run off to see who did it and I was running after her trying to find her. "Lila! Lila, where are you?!" I tried to yell over the crowd's voices and shuffling feet. This had been the third time I was shoved out of the crowd back to where I had started. I may have to resort to using that..... I thought as I gripped my hands tightly into fists. I could feel the wind starting to stir around me when I felt a hand on mine.

Who in the world......I thought as I was about to punch whoever was touching me in the gut but then I saw Lila's crying pleading eyes. "It's alright Jazz, it's alright come on let's go." she said pulling me out of the crowd and into one of the outlets. "Sorry." I said wiping off her tears. "I'm really sorry. I just need to cool off for a bit." I was about to go when I felt a tug on my hand. I noticed I was still holding Lila's hand or she was holding my hand or whatever anyway we were still holding hands. "You sure you'll be alright Jazz?" Lila asked. "Well of course I will, in fact I'm feeling better already."

Lila(POV)

"So where do you want to go for Christmas Eve?" Jasmine(Jazz) asked me and I already knew where I wanted to go. "I want to go to the roof and look at the stars from above." "Are you sure you want to go to the roof?" Jazz asked me. "Yup and that's a request. Can you take me up there from outside Jazz?" I said it in a childish way that made Jazz chuckle a little before walking me outside. It was dark outside since we had been in the mall for a while. Jazz picked me up in her arms and stood up facing the mall. "Ready?" She asked me. "Ready as I'll ever be. Let's go!"

She jumped up a little and took off at a fast pace. The way up was quiet and smooth. I pointed at all the major sites and I even saw my house. We laughed and talked as we went further skyward. I felt so safe with Jazz and I knew she wouldn't do anything to hurt me on purpose. We were almost at the top of the building. "We'll be at the top in a little bit. Are you cold?" Jazz asked. I was shivering in her arms but I didn't want her to notice so I didn't say anything. "Do you want my jacket?" I looked at her eyes for a moment and could tell she was genuinely worried. I nodded at her right when she landed on the roof. She put me down on the roof before taking off her jacket and handing it to me. I took it gratefully and looked up at the sky. "The stars look so pretty, don't they Jazz?" I asked her but I noticed she was shivering a little. "Are you cold Jazz?" "Of course not, I'm warm enough with you next to me. Now, let me show you something, but you can't tell anyone else about it." Jazz said.

Jasmine (POV)

She nodded slightly and I took her word for it. I reached into my shirt and took out my special chain necklace. It had a green emerald at the end of the chain. "This is the saint sea green emerald. It is a special jewel and one of the most important of its kind. It's my restrictor on my powers. Do you understand?" Lila looked lost but nodded for me to continue. "When I release my jewel's restrictions, I'm able to access my full powers but that will never happen." "Why not, won't you need them?" Lila asked me worryingly. "Don't worry I'm one of the most powerful sekirei, #03. I won't need them."

Lila grabbed my hand.

"Can I help you?" Lila asked. "What do you mean?" "I don't want you to be in trouble because you can't activate your full powers so what can I do to help?" I blushed because I knew what she had to do and I wasn't sure it was a good idea. "It's okay. Even if you did, you would have to....." I can't finish that sentence. It's just too embarrassing and she probably wouldn't do it anyway. "I don't care what I have to do. You've always been there for me and I want to always be there for you. After all," she looked down and blushed, "I would do anything for you." I stood up and looked down into her eyes. "Do you, Lila Straus, accept the responsibility of this contract to become an ashikabi and the consequences that come with it."
