My dearest birds it is time for the annual celebration of the day you were allowed to spread your wings. The day of and time of this event will be sent to you specifically. This is an event you must attend for if you don't your wings shall be cut off. Remember you and the person that allowed you to show your wings must attend for this punishment not to be put upon you. Dress nicely and be ready for a ball!

Jasmine(POV)

"Great how am I supposed to deal with this." I said to myself sarcastically. I was on my bed in the apartment me and Lila share. "I can't tell this to Lila the way she is now and I know she's not up for a trek to wherever in the world this so called 'celebration' is so what the heck am I supposed to do." I said while squeezing the life out if my pillow. I'm still surprised that she even came back to the apartment. She's been in her room since we got back and of course she isn't talking to me. "Hey Lila I'm making some dinner do you want any?" I heard a crash and some feet shuffling. Then she opened the door, came out of her room, and walked over to the table. "Rice." she said bluntly. "Whatever you say." I started measuring out the rice and putting it in the rice cooker. "Lila," she didn't respond,"do you want to go to the park later?" no response."We could have a picnic by the lake and feed the ducks. What do you think?"still no response. "Then I guess it's a yes. I'll pack some of your favorite sandwiches and some tea. What kind of tea do you want? I was thinking English but we could have something different if you want." I could hear Lila shuffle her feet a little. "Are you sure you want to go to the park?" Lila asked me. She said something to me. She's talking to me. "Of course I do. Why would I say it if I didn't mean it?" I said to her hopefully. "I don't think I'll go." she said plainly. I stared at her in disbelief. "Why not Lila? I really want to go with you." I said desperately. "Are you still mad at me? If you are, please don't be. I'll tell you the truth if I need to but please don't be mad at me." I broke down crying. Lila stood up from her chair knelt down in front of me. "I could never be mad at you, Jazz" she sat down beside me and looked at the ceiling. "I was curious at first when I met you. I thought wouldn't it be cool to know someone like you. Someone who was smart and kind and strong and lots of other things but when you were in that battle it hit me. Everything you told me about the sekirei and the game. I realized how much danger you were in and how much danger I put you in having to protect me. To put it simply I want to be able to help you fight. I can't be a burden to you anymore so I'm either with you or not all!" she said determined. When she's like this I can't stop her so I better go with her. "Lila I don't know about this but if you're with me I guess it'll be alright?" I said a little doubtful. "We need some transmitters and a new computer and etc" Let's just say she had a lot of ideas and unfortunately one of them involved me wearing a mission outfit. I have a bad feeling about this though.

Willa(POV)

"You know the punishment Ruth(short for my codename Ruthless). You failed your assignment and I'm not in a good mood." my boss says in a threatening tone. "Don't worry boss. I just need a little more time and there is a party coming up that he will definitely be going to. I'll comprehend the target there sir." I said to him reassuringly. "You better. You're representing this company when you leave this building and I cannot accept people who tarnish this company's image. Now go and complete your assignment!" he said the last part loudly probably because he's probably irritated. "Whatever you say boss." I said as I walked into the elevator. I can't wait till I finish this job so I can quit this company. I thought as I pushed the button for the ground floor. This isn't even really a company it's more of a conspiracy if you ask me. I walked out of the elevator and out of the building. Now it's time to see what's really going on. I took a running start and jumped to the top of the building easily since it was only 4 stories. I sat down on the center of the roof and started to meditate. Please Ruby, help me find out what my 'boss' is really planning. The limiter gem on my wrist glowed a soft red. I closed my eyes and I saw him in his office talking to some guy in a black coat. "You got the thing?" boss asked. "Of course I do. Do you have the money?" the black coat said. My boss grabbed a suitcase loaded with money. I'll have to make sure to steal it from the guy. The black coat handed him some kind of device in a glass box. "Here's the infamous sky gear you wanted." my boss grabbed the box and practically threw the suitcase at the man. My boss signaled for him to leave and everything went black. I opened my eyes and looked at the gem on my bracelet. "I guess that's all you can show me. " I'll definitely have to visit aunt Matsu later. I think I saw something about the sky gear in her journal. Now to get my money. I jumped off the building towards the exit where I waited for my prize.
