Surprise Party (part 1)

Rune (POV)

"What are you doing here?" I asked Willa. "Could ask you the same thing." she said back. "If you can't tell me that, mind telling me who she is?" I said pointing to the little girl holding Willa's hand and looking around excitedly. "That," she said nodding towards the girl, "is Kim. I'm watching over her for my boss." she said. "What power does she have?" I asked her. "None that she truly about. She's only a child and doesn't need to be part of our problems." she said and turned to leave. I grabbed her arm and whispered in her ear. She stopped to think about it and decided to ignore me. "Good luck keeping her safe!" I yelled at her as she went into the crowd of sekirei and FBI and others who were in the decorated ball room. You stay safe too.

Kim(POV)

"I'm going to get some juice Will." I said to Will as I ran over to the tables. "Don't take too long!" she yelled over the music. While I was getting some juice someone bumped into me and you can guess what happened next. The water bowl spilled on my dress. "My dress!!!" I screamed as loud as I could and everyone was looking at me and the other kid. I was about to start crying when the other kid grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the crowd of people looking at us. He pulled us to a wall and we both leaned against it panting. "I'm sorry ok." he said looking away from me but I decided to accept his apology. "I'll dry it off for you." He held out his hand and a flame appeared. He put it near my dress and I backed away a little. "Don't burn it! It's my favorite." "I'm already done and it's not burnt." "Kim! What happened to getting some juice? Huh. And mind telling me what the heck that boy over there is doing with a flame in his hand?"

Willa(POV)

"Hi Will! He was just helping me out and nothing else. Promise." I tried saying calmly but knew my voice sounded a little shaky. "With a flame in his hand I doubt it. Now we ,and by we I mean you, are going to go home. You understand." I said to her. "If you can catch me first!" she grabbed the boys hand and ran into the crowd. "Kim!!!!!!" I yelled and ran after her but got pushed out of the crowd into a wall. Man they just had to invite all the sekirei and FBI and the extras. What the heck am I going to tell my boss?
