Smuggler's Treat

Koby(POV)

"What the heck have you gotten me into?!" Nicole screamed in my ear. "Can't talk right now if you haven't noticed!" I snapped back as I knocked out a guy with a blow to the head. A punch in the face and they're out.....this is easy. I thought this was going to be more of a fight.

Flashback

"Koby." Nicole said in a threatening voice. "Oh hey Nicole. What are you doing here?" I said trying to save myself. It didn't work. "Don't worry about that. Now what's that in your hand." she said cracking her knuckles. "A katana sword." I said wearily as I stood. "Who're the people on the ground." she said in that same threatening voice. "What people?" I said casually. "Why don't we go for a walk?" I said trying pulling her away from the scene. "What about....." she never got to finish that sentence since a group of people from the uhhhh 'capturing sekirei group since I don't know their name group' surrounded us and pushing us into a corner. "You know them Nicole because I hope you don't." "What do you mean?" she managed to get out before shock took over her as I pinned one of the guys to a wall with my katana. I held it against his neck and was about to finish him(I mean knock him out because I'm not trying to get arrested) when Nicole decided to whack the sword  out of my hand. "Are you crazy?!" she asked desperately trying to distract me from the guys closing in on us. "No. I like to think of it as eccentric." I said to her as I picked up my sword and hit the back of my sword with his neck and he was knocked out.

Flashback End

"Calm down. I'm almost done and you won't have to go to jail, OK." I tried reassuring her as I knocked out the last guy with the hilt(handle) of the sword. "Alright are you listening to me?" she nodded her head a little since she was still in shock. "I want you to go home and pretend this never happened. If you need to talk, you know where I'll be." I said as I walked away towards the mall for some new clothes. It's a good thing she didn't notice that I stole from the jeweller's shop down the street.

Nicole(POV)

My mom was right. I shouldn't be hanging out with him but he'd know if I was avoiding him. I thought as I was stumbling to my mom's house due to shock. What should I do? I can talk to him tomorrow during lunch or I could be a snitch and tell the police. Let's see, being a snitch or talking it out. Knowing me I'll talk it out so might as well wait till tomorrow. I walked into my mom's house, ignoring her asking me questions, and collapsed onto my bed as a dreamless sleep engulfed me.
