Michael's hair was beyond greasy. He hadn't washed it all weekend and it was now Monday. The subdued lilac strands looked like they'd been coated with hair gel.

Ever since he and Jade got into a fight, he hadn't left his house. He'd spent all weekend crying and contemplating whether or not he should apologize.
Michael wasn't going to school. He couldn't.
Finally, he decided to message Luke.

Surely enough in ten minutes, a certain lanky blonde boy was at his door, holding a tub of cookies n' cream ice cream and a bouquet of rainbow roses.

"I thought you would want some of your favourite ice cream." Luke smiled sheepishly, shrugging.

Michael pressed his lips to Luke's soft pink ones.

"How about the rainbow roses?" Michael asked softly, his eyes closed, nose pressed to Luke's.

"Well you're really," Luke backed up, putting his hands near his mouth to amplify his voice. "GAYYYYY!"

Michael giggled, cheeks turning pink.

"That was almost a really adorable moment."

Luke laughed, wrapping his arms around Michael, planting a kiss on his forehead.

"Can you take a shower first? Your hair is gross." Luke crinkled his button nose, pushing Michael away.

Chuckling, he headed into the bathroom, following Luke's request.

"Miss me?" Michael smirked, arms outstretched as he walked back into the living room.

He was now wearing a white short sleeve shirt and black sweatpants, his hair damp.

Smiling, Luke patted the spot on the couch next to him.

"So what's been bothering you, hun?" He asked, as Michael flopped beside him.

"Jade and I got into a fight. I got mad at her for not talking to me for two months." Michael pouted, trying to make it seem more casual than it was.

"Aw, baby why didn't you tell me this was bothering you?" Luke pulled him closer so that Michael was in his arms, and his body was leaning on Luke's.

Michael sighed, staring at the white popcorn ceiling.

"I dunno. I guess I just never thought it was that big of a deal, until it was brought up again."

"Well have you guys made up yet?" Luke asked, his fingers fiddling with Michael's soft hair.

"No, she didn't apologize. All she said was that she didn't want to talk about it."

"She doesn't seem like a good friend." Luke replied honestly, shifting slightly to reach for the remote.

"I guess she hasn't been for a while now." Michael replied bitterly.

"Hey," Luke looked into Michael's green eyes. His hands cupped his soft cheeks. "You still have me, Ashton and Calum."

The boy's mouth curved into a small smile.
