"I don't think I should tell you" I said, raising a brow.

She gave me a quizzical look, "Why the hell not?" she snorted.

"You just sometimes...over-react" I cringed, hoping that I wouldn't get another dose of violent Emily. I've had enough for the day.

Her mouth hung open as her eyes shifted all over the place, she doesn't need to act so shocked- she knew that she over-reacted greatly when it comes to these kind of things. Especially when it comes to girls.

"I-I-don't!" she protested.

Just as I was about to protest, Jason and Ethan passed by and shouted,

"Yes, you do."

"He's right!"

"Ugh" she rolled her eyes "no one asked for your opinions, idiots!" she shouted.

But Ethan and Jason were already submerged in the water, swimming away.

"Elliot just tell me who you got- did you get Isab-"

"HEY! WHO TOLD YOU TWO TO STOP YOUR LAPS!?"

Startled, Emily and I snapped our heads to the person who shouted- coach... Judging by the pissed off look he had on his face, I'm guessing he's having a very bad day- better not to add more to it.

Emily and I simply apologized and continued our laps.

"I'll tell you later, Em." I said. Emily just nodded and shortly we began our remaining laps.

Once practice was over, I went to the boy's changing room to take a quick shower and change. Normally Jason and Emily would ride with me in my car, going to school and going home.

We lived on the same street so it really wasn't a hassle. Let's also add the fact that Jason is a fucking terrible driver, his parents worried that he and Emily would get in an accident before they could even reach the end of the street. Emily actually already has her learner's permit but she's definitely no better than her brother.

I walked towards my black Land Rover pick up truck with my towel hung around my neck.

I see Emily and Jason leaning against my car, waiting. I removed the towel around my neck and ruffled it against my hair trying to dry it up. I hated it when the water from my hair drips; it just feels so...sticky.

"I'm not going to ask you what took you so long, you take longer than a girl" Emily stated, rolling her eyes but I could tell she wanted to laugh.

"Aren't you used to it yet, Em? We've been riding with this kid since I was a sophomore and you were freshmen" Jason chuckled.

I unlocked the doors with a click of my car keys and we all climbed inside.

As I inserted the keys and started the ignition, I began driving out of the school grounds.

"What were you and Emily bickering'bout earlier?" Jason asked. He was sitting shotgun and I could see at the corner of my eye that he quickly looked at Emily and I, questioningly.

"You agreedto what Eli said and you didn't even know what we were arguing over about?!" she squawked.

Jason and I winced at the ear drilling sound, damn it. I'm driving here- if we run into a tree...

Huh. This would be a great submission to 1000 Ways to Die.

CAUSE OF DEATH: A screeching teenage girl in the car is never a good idea.

"Oh sis, that's what best friends do" Jason smirked, he lifted his fist and I quickly looked at him and bumped fists with him, smiling.

I returned my eyes back on the road andI could hear Emily groan in the back seat.

"No fair, you guys are just teaming up on me now."

Just as Jason was about to say something Emily sudden said,

"Oy Eli, you owe me an explanation"

"for?" I drawled.

"Who's your Prom date" she stated. Hmmmm. We still had a good 15 minutes before we arrived by the neighborhood. So why not?

"Oh- I guess I do, well I got Collins." I said nonchalantly, taking a right turn.

"Collins? Collins? As in Isabelle Collins or Charlotte?" she asked.

"Charlotte" Jason answered when I asked incredulously, "You knew that Isabelle had a sister?

"Yeah, my friends have a great view from our lunch table of her little spot under a tree. Instead of eating in the canteen, she just sits under a tree and read" Emily explained,

"why didn't you know that Isabelle had a sister?"

"He had no freaking idea, he was even so insistent that he got Isabelle Collins" Jason butted in, laughing at my earlier actions. I guess I shouldv'e told her when Jason wasn't around. That prick.

Emily joined in Jason's laughter party.

I growled at him, actually both of them. What? It was just a simple verification incase they did get the names mixed up.

"Chill, Mr. Werewolf. I'll shut up now"

"Oh and Em, he even got her name wrong when he talked to her. He called her Charlotte Annie instead of Anne."

In a matter of seconds the car was filled with roars of laughter while I sat quietly, driving and trying to stop myself from the temptation of smacking Jason on the back of his pretty head.

"You know Eli, you probably left a bad first impression on her. You need to make up for it" she said once her laughter finally died down a bit.

"Okay, what exactly do you think I should do?"

"Ask her out" Emily smiled.

"WHAT? WHAT? NO WAY! ARE YOU SERIOUS? NO WAY, JOSE. WH-"

"Chill, Eli. I was only kidding. Jesus" she rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, Eli. It was like you were protesting on marrying a 50 year old woman with a face full of warts and shit rather than asked to go ask out a girl on a date." Jason chuckled.

"Sorry. It's just you know that I'm pretty much still hung over Isabelle and even I don't have enough guts to ask her out."

I could see the Price's white picket fence and simple two storey house in sight, so I slowly pulled over. Jason gave me a handshake and hopped out the car. Emily stayed behind for a while as she fixed her belongings.

"I think you should become her friend" Emily suggested.

That's it! If I wanted her to help me I must become her friend first because friends help friends out, right?

"I could do that- oh. But you know I'm a terrible conversation starter" I replied, glumly.

"Don't worry. The boys and I will go with you tomorrow." She offered, holding her school bag, swim bag and what looks like her science project.

I cringed, "How about just you? I mean- the boys can be very..." I couldn't find the right word to fit but Emily got the message and laughed.

"Okay, okay. I'll help you because I pity you. Huh, what will you ever do without me?" she faked a sigh.

"I'd probably go out and celebrate" I grinned, teasing her.

Just as she was about to throw a comeback at me.

"Hey Em! Would you hurry up? Mom wants to talk to you!" I heard Jason shout from the house.

I quickly helped Emily with her bags and waved her goodbye.

Tomorrow was going to be a long day. I wonder how it was going to go...I hoped for the best if things don't turn out well I don't know what I'm going to do in order to get Isabelle.
