When I awoke (yet again), I was not in my bedroom. I was not in a friends house. I was in a garage, from the looks of it.
There was a car right next to me, red and glossy. My vision was blurry so I could only make out colors. The walls were grey. It was dark.
When my vision became clear, I noticed the only source of light was a small light-bulb that bugs were crowding around. I sat on a sheet-less mattress, the only thing covering my body was a thin white dress which you probably could see my bra and underwear in.
I scanned the room for something to either (a.) cover up my body more and (b.) find a way out. I stood up and walked over to the garage door. There was a tiny dent to pull the garage door up and I clenched my fists on it and pulled. Nothing. I looked around for something else, a tiny hole in it that I could make bigger and crawl out of, anything that could save me. Nothing.
Eventually, I found a tiny code-generated garage door machine. I didn't try and punch numbers in, because I know how alarm systems work, and so I just stared at the numbers. Some of them were scratched off where the 1, 2, 5 and 6 would be, so I analyzed it.
If I put it in as 1256, it would be a shape that was sort of like:
----__
Which was something dumb that a person would use for a code, so I entered the numbers. I did them silently, because each time I pressed in a number it would make a small beeping noise. I took my time. I had one more number until a random stranger was attempting to open the lock on the door. I started sweating and punched in the last number, to which it beeped in success, and I ran over to the garage dent and pulled up. When there was a tiny opening, I slid under and got to smell the sweet and natural air, but I ran until I found a worthy hiding spot.
He would know I left. I didn't close the door. He'll be running for me. I don't even have my phone on me.
Well, duh.
I got up once I thought the coast was clear. I took in my surroundings and went to the nearest house. I had ran about a half of a mile from the house where I was kidnapped, so I should be fine. I walked up to the door, covering my breasts, and knocked. I started to cry.
Once the door was open, I muttered from my breath, "Please help me," and womanly hands enveloped me.
"Come in, come in. I'll get you some clothes and food. My name is Victoria. Are you okay?" I just shook my head and she lead me up the stairs to her room. Victoria had short auburn hair and was wearing a white tank-top and a grey cardigan. She had light skinny jeans and had a pretty necklace with a bird on it.
She came out of the closet with a light purple sweater on and light ripped jeans. I accepted them politely.
"Thank you so much." I muttered.
"No problem, hun. Get those on and walk downstairs. You'll find the kitchen. I'm gonna call a family meeting." She told me. She looked as if she was in her 30's, so I wasn't surprised she had a family. She walked out of the room and just because of privacy, I quickly found the bathroom and walked inside, locking the door behind me.
I peeled off the disgusting and stripper-like tiny dress that was on me and put on the sweater. Then, I put the jeans on and unlocked the bathroom door and went into the large room on the upper floor.
The floor didn't have much, it was very large, had a small balcony with the view of the glass on the door and the downstairs patio. I found the stairs again and walked down them.
"Emma, she's not staying. She just needs to call her parents and then they'll pick her up. They must be worried sick." Victoria said to her child, probably. But what I heard next was surprising.
An around 30 womanly voice answered. "I understand. But I want to make food for her. I'm sure the boys will love her." I walked into the room.
"Oh, ummm...." Victoria said, gesturing to my name.
"Avery." I answered quickly.
"Avery. This is my wife, Emma." Victoria said, gesturing to Emma. Emma waved. "Hi, I'm Avery. Avery Huntsman. I'm sorry I barged in like this. But thank you so much for the clothing. It really means a lot." I said.
"Oh, its no harm." Emma said. Then in a loud voice, she yelped, "BOYS! COME DOWN HERE, FAMILY MEETING!" Then Victoria settled on a chair, looked at me, and patted her hand to the one next to her. I nodded and assorted myself onto the chair.
I heard male voices, about my age, walking down the stairs. Emma started to cook dinner. A minute later, two teenage boys, both very hot, might I add, stepped into the room. I looked at them and they stared at me. Then it clicked.
Asher Dawn and Alynn Dawn. Twins. Two of the most popular boys at my school. I gulped.
"Avery?" Asher asked. "Asher." I replied.
"Why are you here?" Alynn asked. Victoria snorted.
"Well boys, I see you know Avery. Boys, this is Avery. She ran to our house. I'm not sure about her story, but she looked like she was assaulted and hurt." I looked at my hands. I didn't even notice the bruises. They probably beat me up.
I just stared at them.
STORY TIME.
o-KAY. It was creative writing time in my class so I asked if I could work on the story. She said yes. So I'm writing. Yay! Hope you enjoyed the chapters. Two boys are introduced, Asher and Alynn (Alen)!
