I was riding in the car with my mom today and I realized how fast the truck was going. It was between Perryville and Jackrabbit on Lower Buckeye. You start off at the stop sign, on Perryville, with a simple summer spent with a sister who is off to college soon. You hit the accelerator and now your sister is packing. You look at the window to get a glimpse of Leister's Farm and your sister is off to move in day without you. You look forward and see that Jackrabbit, your new stop, is approaching. As you come to your stop, you look back on the road to see if anyone is behind you, even though you know she's already off in the real world, doing her own thing. So you raise your head up high, look both ways, and keep going.
