Chapter 3: When The Killers Come

Rosidia's POV

"Wait I can explain!" I say frantically. But Luna had already ran off "DJ! what do we do!" I scream at him. "WOAH first of all calm down lets go talk to her. We run off to the house dropping our cloaks but what we don't know is someone was following us. When we return we both search the house for Luna but then we bonk into each other. "THE STORM-CELLAR!" We yell and head back outside in the the rain.

Luna's POV

I stay huddled in the corner of the cellar shaking with fear. My brother and sister killed someone and I saw it. I then hear footsteps coming down to the cellar I'm scared so I try to dive for the pile of blankets but I'm too late. "Luna? Are you here-" Rose starts. "There you are! We need to talk to you." She says seriously. I start shaking again and back up against a wall. "We do this to keep us safe Luna. It's also how we keep this family strong. Someone in that group killed mom and dad. We joined for the money and to kill whoever killed our parents." DJ explains to me I stop shaking but then a see someone behind DJ. I was going to say WATCH OUT! But DJ turned around and slit the mans throat before I could say anything. The man falls to the ground and we both look at Rosidia to talk.
"What? My turn? Alright... Luna in all seriousness you can't tell ANYONE or you must become an assassin. But you don't have much of a choice if you tell someone your an assassin. Don't tell anyone your an assassin." Rosie says crossing her arms. "I have to become an assassin!" I say then I start freaking out running around the room and jumping over the corpse. DJ puts his hand in front of my face and stops me from running. They escort me to my room and let me sleep while they discuss plans

DJ's POV

I lay out some assassination plans for us to look at. "No not him he got killed at the landslide "accident" remember?" Rosidia says to me. "Right. How about this girl she looks like one of the assassins in our group. She's one of the top killers other then us!" I say back to her. She nods and she puts away the plans in our secret base room. She cooks dinner then calls Luna down to eat too. "How do I know your not trying to kill me with poison in my soup." Luna says to Rose. "Excuse me I cooked this dinner for all of us! Now eat or else I'll take your soup away and you can have no dinner." Rose says back to Luna's rude remark. I gulp down the soup and so does rose but then Luna eats in the slowest way possible. I groan and head upstairs to change and then I head to bed.

Rosidia's POV

"COME ON! Eat the soup already!" I yell at her. "BUT what if you poisoned it!" She yells back at me. "THEN YOU WOULD ALREADY BE DEAD, HON!" I yell back. "Oh no she didn't" DJ yells from upstairs. "Oh sorry DJ did we wake you?" I question. "Yes, yes you did." DJ says I can hear his get back into bed. "fine don't eat go upstairs and get changed then GO TO SLEEP!" I say to her. She complies and I wash the dishes then head upstairs for a good night sleep."
