Chapter 4: Misson Accepted

DJ's PoV
The moon peeked through the cloudy night. The distant howl of wolves broke the eerie silence.
I stared longingly at the only picture I have of my parents.
"I will avenge you," I say clutching the small picture.
The door creaked open and Rosadia stepped in.
I quickly slip the picture under my bed, I couldn't risk letting them see it. If they did they might take it from me.
"Oh hey Rose," I say.
"That was one big mistake eh?" She says. Rose walks over and sits next to me on my bed. We stare at the few stars  dotting the sky, just barely making it past the thick cloud cover.
"You think she'll ever forgive us?" I ask.
"I don't know," she replies.
"But I'm glad we didn't attack today,"
"Huh why?" I say
"Because we should probably wait a little while until we leave again,"

I looked at the picture of the three siblings on the wall.

"Yeah your right,"  I say sympathetically.
"Oh and you can keep your picture," she says reaching under my bed.
"Wait you know? Ahh of course you know, you know everything,"
Rosidia smiled.
"Ok get some rest, we'll attack tomorrow," Rose gets up and leaves me in my room, lonely again staring at the stars.

Rosidia's PoV
I woke up and quickly got changed into normal clothes, but I snuck my cloak into my backpack. Then I ran down stairs and threw a bagel into the toaster.
"Hey sis," DJ says grinning
"Oh hey DJ," I replied, wondering what he was grinning about.
"You ready?" He says.
Just then Luna comes downstairs. Looking glum.
"For what?" She says shaking.
"Oh, uh..." DJ looks at me.
"Errands. Yeah errands," I reply.

I wink at DJ, then he face palms.

"I know what your doing, you don't have to hide it anymore," Luna says, shaking like a leaf.

I sigh and step towards Luna. I drop my backpack on the ground and put my hands on her shoulders.
DJ steps forward too.
Then Luna collapses into a hug.
I squeeze her tightly. Then DJ joins in.
"We're sorry," I say.
Luna has tears in her eyes as she backs away.
"Please don't make me like you.
a killer," she says.
That made me even cry.
DJ was waiting patiently, watching our dramatic conversation.
Then he walked over to the toaster and took out my bagel.
"You don't have to come with us," I say to Luna.
"Thank you," she says.
"Yeah we're out of cream cheese!" DJ yells.
"Way to ruin the moment!" I yell back.
Then we all started laughing.

DJ's PoV
My sisters sure now how to be dramatic. I think to myself.

Me and Rose were walking down the cobblestone street of the village.
"So Rosie where to first," I ask rubbing my hand together.
"Well the girl we're looking for lives in the big orange house up ahead. I say we check there first,"
I nod as Rose ducks into an alleyway.
I duck into an alleyway up ahead.
I pull out my white and red cloak it's black lines reflecting the light. Dang this things cool. I think to myself. I quickly get changed and pull my mask on. Then I reach into my backpack and pull out my weapon of choice. A long curved black sword with red edges. And this things even cooler! I smirk.
"Ok it's been a couple days, lets do this" 
I jump up to some boxes and backflip onto a clothesline that stretches all the way across the street I Zipline across and jump through a window on the other side of the street.
Then I slide down the railing of the stairs and frontflip off the end.
I slide kick the door open and roll out.
"Whew! What a rush," I say. Then I come face to face with Rose. She was standing there with her arms crossed. Her black cloak with white lining flapping in the wind.
"When your done showing off we should get to work," she jokes.
"But it's been so long!" I say backflipping.
"It's been two days," she says.
"Two days to long," I reply practicing swinging my sword.
"Careful with that thing," she says.
"Lets go,"
She says dashing up the street.
I only just realized the crowd that had gathered behind us.
Oh shoot...
