First Day (part 4)

"Okay everyone,that's enough for today. You all worked really hard so why don't we go to Kotoris maid cafe to celebrate!", Eli announced as she turned to face you,"(y/n) you're welcome to come if you'd like". You looked up at her,"Id love to". "it's settled then,so let's go!",Honaka butted it.

  A few hours later,you were at the cafe with the other nine girls. Of course,you were seated next to Hanayo. Everyone was having a little trouble deciding what to get."Why don't we just order one big cake for all of us to.   share?",Honaka suggested from across the large table. "That's a great idea nya~~ !",Rin sang. "I disagree",Maki interjected on the side of Rin. "What if we want something else,or different flavors?". "Well I guess you're right Maki...haha..", Honaka smiled a bit awkwardly. "Wait!",You called,drawing everyone's attention. You continued,"Just order whatever you want,I'll pay for it...all of it". "(y/n) you really don't have to do that...",Hanayo said to you. "Please,it's my way of saying thank you,and besides,I have enough funds to cover it",you reassured her."No,I'll split it with you,It would have been too big of a burden to make you pay for everyone",Maki offered. Everyone turned their head to her,surprised. "What are you all staring at? Im feeling generous",she scoffed and turned away. "Oh,thank you so much",you smiled warmly at Maki."it's no big deal,my family owns a very large hospital,so I definitely have money to blow",she said,bragging. Briefly afterwards,the waiter approached. Everyone ordered what they wanted and it was quickly brought to them. You had a slice of cake,strawberry sugar cookies,and lemonade. Your neighbor,Hanayo,had a cupcake,rice,and a milkshake. "You must really like rice!",You giggled. "Me? Oh yeah! I absolutely love white rice.",Hanayo sighed,pleased. You watched her scarf down every single rice ball in record time. She hasn't even touched her cupcake yet,regardless,she's so cute when she eats,you thought to yourself. Suddenly,a strange idea came to your head...you were contemplating whether or not you should go through with it. After a few seconds,you decided to do it because why the heck not. You shyly lifted your head up and turned to Hanayo. "U-um if you wouldn't mind....would you feed me?",You asked,a bit embarrassed. "F-ffeed you?!U-um sure!",she half yelled,a confused look plastered on her face. "I thought it would be fun!",You replied,"thanks". You watched her pick up the cake and carefully scoop some into a fork. "Open wide!",she smiled brightly as she carefully spoon fed you cake. "You two look like and old married couple",Nico mocked the both of you from across the room. "Well,I think the both of you are cute Kayochin! Nya~~ ^_^",Rin called from the other side of Hanayo,her mouth full of cake and some other food that you couldn't recognize. Hanayo giggled..how cute. A minute or two later,the cake was gone. Hanayo set the plate down and lifted up her chocolate milkshake to take a sip. Afterward,she began eating her cupcake. When she was finished,you noticed a small piece of cake on the bottom of her lip. "Hanayo,you have something on your lip. Hold still so I can get it for you.",You said to her. Without thinking,you leaned in and kissed her. Although it was sweet,it only lasted a second,because the both of you pulled away immediately,surprised by your action. Everyone's conversations died down slowly as they turned to look and you and Hanayo,shocked. Hanayo just sat there,still dumbfounded...scared even. Nobody said a word. Complete and utter silence. A few dreadfully painful seconds later,you spoke up. "Uh...look at the time! I have a lot of homework so I better go...sorry Bye!",You squeaked as you threw your share of the money on the table and stormed out. As you ran,you thought you heard foot steps following you,but they soon died down. You kept running. Faster and faster...until it hurt to breathe. You ran...all the way home,back to your room where you collapsed. You began to cry,immediately regretting what you did. You kept crying...youe thoughtless actions may end your friendship with Hanayo. "I'm sorry",yyou whispered quietly as you cried yourself to sleep.
