The Note

    Authors note:I have been procrastinating. I finished chapter five a few days ago but I've been too lazy to type it sooo here :P Please feel free to criticize me so that I can fix any mistakes that I may have made.

    The next day you woke up,eyes still puffy from crying. "Why do I always screw things up?",You wondered aloud. *knock knock* "Honey wake up and get ready for school", your mother called from other Side of the door. "Okay" you coughed as you rolled off of your bed and onto the floor. "Maybe I should just pretend to be sick or something",you thought sarcastically. After a few more seconds,you picked yourself up off the ground and got dressed. As soon as you finished you walked into the kitchen where your mother greeted you with pancakes and a smile. "Good morning (y/n)!",she said as she handed you breakfast. "G'morning mom,thanks.",You faked a smile and took your food. "I hope you have a good da-",your mother started but never got to finish because you had already scarfed down all of your food and sacadadled your way outta there. "Sorry mom I forgot to say goodbye",You whispered as you ran to school. You thought that if you got there early enough you could wait by her locker to apologize,but by the time you got to school,she was already there. Standing by her locker,hugging her books tight other chest,was Hanayo. The two other first years that you met previously,Rin and Maki,were there as well. All three of them were chatting and laughing together. You saw Maki turn her head towards you,so you quickly ducked into the next hallway where your locker was. In your haste,you bumped  into someone. "Sorry my bad",you looked up at the girl you ran into,she looked familiar. "(y/n)? Oh hello! It's alright,in fact,I predicted that you would come rushing through this hallway,so I came here on purpose",the girl who in that moment you recognized as Nozomi,said. She smiled at you devilishly. "Seems like someone's got a little crush",Nozomi purred to herself. "Hey,if this is about what happened yesterday,what I did was an accident",you said fiercely,but Nozomi just kept her cool composure and said,"Oh,I wasn't talking about yesterday",she smiled and winked at you as she spun around and walked into the student council club room. "Okay..that was weird",you thought as you walked to your locker to get your books. As you opened up your locker,a small piece of paper fell out. Confused,you picked it up. It read,"Meet me on the rooftop after school ~ H" "H....",You thought to yourself. After a second or two,you realized something. Hanayo's name started with an H...what if she was the one who wanted to see you..no,it just had to be her. You smiled for the first time that day as you shoved the note in your pocket and hurried to class. You took your seat next to Maki just as the bell rang. She was looking at you out of the corners of her eyes,a smirk forming on her lips. You pretended not to notice,but she still made you feel very uncomfortable. "Heyyy..",Maki's voice echoed in your head when she spoke. "Hi..",You responded,not looking up. "So..you and oh,what was her name? *Gasp* Hanayo right? How cute,but Rin's a but upset.",she chuckled and turned away. "I wonder what that meant",you thought as you copied notes,not even paying attention to what the teacher was saying. After what seemed like years of waiting,school was finally over. You ran straight to the stairs and began making your way up,your heartbeat speeding up with each step. You basically ripped the door off of its hinges when you reached the top,but as soon as you saw who was there,your heart sank. "I'm glad you could make it",Honaka spun around,allowing you to see her entire face. "Me too",you smiled,but you couldn't hide the obvious disappointment in your voice. "There are a few things that I wanted got all to you about",she smiled and gestured for you to sit next to her. "So what's up?",You asked as you sat down. "Wanted to ask...er..about that..about that thing! Oh yeah that thing!",she smiled awkwardly,but then her face turned serious,"The thing that happened yesterday". Your face burned red as you mumbled,"W-what happened was an accident...I-I",you were cut off by Honaka. She was holding a finger to your mouth. "Stoppp",she pouted as she removed her finger. Just tell me this...do you have feelings for her? Do you like her as more than just a friend?",she asked persistently. Honestly,you didn't care if she knew,you didn't care if anyone knew,even Hanayo. You took a deep breath and lifted your head up to look at her. The both of you stared at each other,not breaking eye contact,not saying a word until you breathed out.

"Yes".

You both just kind of sat there for a few seconds just thinking,until Honaka spoke up,"That's all I needed to know,now bye!". Honaka turned back around and sang into the wind. "Uh okay...",You said as you spun towards the door. That wasn't the response that you were expecting,but did you honestly care? No. You made your way to the door and slowly turned the handle,but you heard something..it sounded like Rin. Startled,you yanked the door open. "Ah! Someone help me!",Hanayo yelled as she tumbled to the ground,followed by Rin and the other six members,who also fell out and to the ground. "Idiots",you thought,"They must have been leaning against the door..wait,we they eavesdropping?". You noticed that Hanayo was the first one  topple out...so she must have been the closest to the door. "(y/n) I...",Hanayo spoke as she got off the ground,but when she looked up,you were already gone because you were already be-boping  your way out.
