Where It All Began

Chapter 2

Fireswirls's P.O.V

I woke up and looked around, 'I was in a weird-looking place with stone brick on the floor and... bars?  Am I in a cell?' I stood up and saw EnderHearts, GoldenSpots, and Candy laying on the floor. 'They must still be passed out.'  I thought as I looked down at my hands 'So, I can make fire. I mean I knew that obviously from my name and what Alsoomse and Lanato have told me, but they should've taught me how to use it.'   I looked down at myself as Enderlina and GoldenSpots were waking up. "Nnngh...w-what? Where am I?!" GoldenSpots looked around and saw the rest of us and stood up, shaking nervously. "How did we get here?!" She was panicking and have a nervous breakdown. Candy was still out and we had to continuously shake her until she woke up completely. "How are you feeling Candy?" I asked,  but she didn't respond. 'Hmm. I wonder what's going on inside her head? She's usually not this quite.'

Candy's Point of View

I woke up and saw Fireswirls, EnderHearts, and GoldenSpots looking down at me "How are you feeling Candy?" Fireswirls asked, "...." I didn't respond 'We're in a prison?  The question is: Who was that Edward guy? Why was he so harsh on us? I understand our role, but why didn't Alsoomse or Lanato warn us about him?'  I wondered. "You're probably wondering why we didn't tell you guys about Edward or try to train you as much as possible before he or anyone else had arrived. We didn't want to push you so hard as he did, to the point where you would all want to run away from your fate." Said a familiar voice. I looked out of the cell and on my right, another cell next to Alsoomse's, it was Lanato the white fox.  Fireswirls walked over and slammed her hands onto the bars. "Lanato, you know us better than that. We wouldn't even know where to hide, and besides.. you're like a family to us. So I don't see why you-" But Fireswirls didn't finish her sentence, a door opened and we all went silent as footsteps were approaching.

Narrator's Point of View

Fireswirls and the rest bend forward as much as possible into the cell bars to see who it was. It was Nightstalker, Lanato and Alsoomse's rival. He had two dark creatures beside him, and two royal guards behind him. He walks by our cell and reaches Aloomse's cell. He chuckles quietly to himself. "Hello Alsoomse, long time no see. The last time I saw you was when-"

"Don't finish that sentence," Alsoomse said, glancing up at him scarily. "You flatter me Alsoomse. You know I love how you're so hard on me. Now, why don't you give it up and be with me? It'll be much more fun and less painful. If you don't accept, you'll be in this cell for the rest of your life." Nightstalker said, smirking at her. "I'd rather die than be with someone like you." She looked up and down at Nightstalker. He was furious at the response she gave to him. 'How could she refuse such an offer? Does she not understand what will happen to her?'  Nightstalker thought worryingly, sure he was a killer and all that, but he cared for his Alsoomse deeply. Even if it did sound crazy to some. He looked at the dark creatures and nodded, the creatures opened the cell and took out Alsoomse but she didn't even fight back. 

'What is she thinking?'  Night stalker thought. 'Probably an amazing plan!' Fireswirls imagined, grinning with the hope of Alsoomse knowing of a plan she yet did not know herself. More creatures came and took Fireswirls and the rest out of their cells with black ropes being tied to them. The ropes began to glow purple and feeling a bit tighter than before, possibly just in case they thought of escaping. Nightstalker commanded the creatures and they walked to the other door on the other side of the jail cells. Nightstalker had taken them to a huge room with a tall throne and on the throne was the king that ruined the whole kingdom, King Venom.
