Previously on Chapter 7
They kept walking until they saw a bit of light underneath a dark door.
"A door!!" They all yelled and sprung to the door. Candy, the first one in line, swung the door opened and saw-
Candy gasped while behind her, Lanato was quite curious to see what she had seen. "Out of the way! Let me see, I am clearly in charge!" Candy, the clumsy one she is, tripped and fell face flat on the hard, prickly grass. Lanato was a bit irritated by the squished and small pathway they had just gone through and had no time for her clumsiness. 'She's just wasting time!' Lanato thought and stepped over her with everyone following him.
Lanato looked at his surroundings, behind him was a little hill with the door behind them, and around him was just grass and flowers blooming all over the place. The air smelled delightful with roses and grass filling the atmosphere, he looked up and saw the blue sky with the big white fluffy clouds floating in the air, with mystical and wonderful creatures flying and soaring through the sky. It was.. Peaceful. 'A bit too peaceful if you asked me', thought Lanato. In front of him was a small wooden cabin which looked like no one was in there. "Come on children, let's go!" Lanato said and speed walked to the adorable little home and knocked on the door gently, like trying not to tumble it down. No answer. He knocked again. Silent.
"Hey! What are you doing here?!" A voice behind them yelled.
They turned around and saw Ava standing there with a straw hat and wearing a pink flannel with jeans, not wearing shoes of any kind while also holding a basket full of berries and flowers. Her dark brown hair flowing in the air with those beautiful yellow eyes that looked like sunflowers.. it only made the scenery of this place even more beautiful. "Hey, Ava. It's such a pleasure seeing you here, we need your help-" Alsoomse said but was quickly interrupted but Ava, "Yes I know why you are all here. I am no of help to you, I am just about to go to the team leaders and retire." Ava said, walking to her house and opening the door wide open. "What?! Are you insane? I need you!- I mean WE need you!" Lanato said, "It's not Serenity without you Ava." He grins, trying to cover his slight blush. "That's sweet Lanato, but I'm just not fit for any action or adventures. I want to stay here, peace and quiet. No interruptions and no more drama. Doesn't that sound wonderful?" Ava says, smiling. "Not quite my cup of tea, honey. Listen, you are going to help us whether you like it or not. Citizens are dying and disappearing every day and you're just gonna stand here laying around like some pig. People are dying! JUST LIKE SNOWFALL!!" Alsoomse shouts out. Everyone turns their gaze to her especially Lanato, was shocked at what she had just said. "Uhm, who is this 'Snowfall'??" Goldenspots says, confused and probably still a little shocked. "No one that is of your interest you brat," Alsoomse says and walks up to Ava, grabbing her by her collar shirt. "Now I'm going to ask you again and you're going to answer correctly. Are you going to help us?" Ava looks down at her and gulps slightly but hides it with a grin. "Of course Loomy!" She jumps down and wraps a right arm around Aloomse's shoulder "Onwards then! Let us go onto an adventure!" 'Oh boy, what have I gotten myself into?' Lanato questioned himself, sighing mentally.
