Tokyo Ghoul: Bloody Nights

Chapter 3

I noticed that my eyes closed during the night, but my eyes were burning up. I took some water and splashed some water in my eyes. I noticed that the big hole in my stomach was gone.  I wore my Anteiku work clothes and head down the stairs. I could see everyone laughing and telling jokes. I told the manager that I would make up for all the days that I missed out. The manager nodded and went away. It felt like he knew what happen to me. He was "The Owl" after all.

I went to a safe place when Anteiku was closed. I took my Kagune out, and I didn't feel anything. I started swinging my Kagune to practice if I get in a fight. I tried to some stunts and all with my Kagune. I thought I got the hang of it, I started getting tired. I thought of going to hunt but, I wasn't that sure. I practiced almost for a hour. I told myself "I'm ready for this." I put my jacket on and started walking around alleys where most Ghoul were.... and CCG. I had no sight of CCG or ghouls. Then I noticed a smell, a smell food. He looked weak and looked like he stole the food of someone else. He has to be easy to kill, and taste dirty. I sneaked up on the room behind him, he didn't even notice I was there. I didn't even have to use my Kagune. I jumped silently on the ground. I ran to him, took my fist and stabbed it in his back. It was so easy to kill him. I took his throats and smashed his face in the wall. He was dead so I tried to eat. He smelled like he hadn't showered for weeks.

I took a bite out of him and threw up. He tasted so disgusting. His food taste tasted like he ate animals instead of human meat. I sighed, and walked away. I saw some CCG that were probably new. They had no clue what this ghoul situation was in the alleys. One of them looked like he was a CCG for a couple of months. I would've killed them, but after the battle with Anteiku, Aogiri Tree, and the CCG. One ghoul just took my mask. I was bleeding out and then Anteiku found me. They helped me and made me have a better life then just killing. I blended in with human society and walked to Anteiku.

I walked in and saw no one inside. I walked upstairs and saw everyone in the meeting room. They're faces looked like something bad happen. I sat down on the open seat. The Manager explained "Kaneki fought the strongest CCG, Arima. Well Kaneki was never dead, that day the CCG took him in and made him a CCG called Haise. He doesn't know who we are. He looks similar like Kaneki but different hair and different eyes. I noticed that Kaneki came to this Cafe." Uta pointed out " What are we going to do, we can't just go in there with a couple of us and a lot of them." "We're going to save him and make him realize that he's not Haise." "When are we going to be doing this?" "It might take some time but we'll save him, he's part of Anteiku."  Nobody seemed to have any questions. They were probably thinking how we were going to pull this off.

We were heading out of the meeting room and suddenly Hinani comes out of her room and grabs my arm. She drags me over to her room window. I questioned "So, what are we doing?" She opened up and went outside. "Wai- what are you doing Hinani." She shushed me and called me up. I did what she told me. I came up and started to point at something. She climbed on top of the roof of the Cafe. I saw one mattress there and was surprised how she got it up here. "Your going to wake everyone up." Hinami said silently " it's ok they won't here us up here." She told me to lay down on the mattress which was really soft. "Isn't this beautiful Ani?" I nodded "ya it's pretty comfortable." "I overheard what happen to Onee- Chan, I hope he's okay, I'm sorry I eavesdropped on you." I smiled and said " He's probably fine, he's pretty strong. It's ok that you eavesdropped but don't do it next time." She smiled and brought another mattress from her room. My eyes started closing slowly then, I was asleep, having good dreams instead total hell in my mind.
