F O U R : I Want To Become A Guy!
M A Y A H A R T
The stupid asshole of a P.E. teacher is as dumb as the guys in this school and I don't care what he has to say. I'm joining that football team one way or another. I could already feel my blood boiling from all the boys snickering. I will show them who's one of the guys!
I shoved Lucas so hard he actually stumbled a few feet back before making a dramatic exit out of the gym, down the hall, and into the main office. I slammed my hands against the front desk making the old secretary lady jump. She pushed her glasses further up her nose before saying, "yes, dear."
"I want to join the boy's football team", I exclaim, crossing my arms over my chest, "so give me the stupid papers to sign up before I attack you and all the boys in this dumb school!"
"Ummm... I don't know what to say... but sweetie the elite camp that people are hosting is for the boys in this school and boys only, "the old broom stick explained, "plus, it's against the rules. If you need a scholarship for some where I would try a club or... ummm... no not cheer-leading! How about the girls basketball team?"
"How about the boys?" I suggest, getting madder by every word that comes out of her chapped lips.
"No. We have reasons why we split each sport by gender. If you need to speak to the principle about this I would be gladly and-" she cuts herself off with a gasp "-oh my! I wasn't thinking if you were transgender or ya know? Usually this school doesn't have much of that. If you want I can actually go get the counselor instead?"
"I'm not-"
"I'll be right back, dear", she cut me off, standing up and walking into the back. And before I know it she comes back with the counselor who is a guy. Yay! Note the sarcasm.
So, the next hour and a half I spent in a small room, sitting across a stupid counselor who thinks he can fix all my problems. He is so wrong. At some point he got way out of hand explaining how it's okay to be who you feel to be. I wanted to puke. Then I finally convinced him I'm straight, which made him think that I just wasn't okay with my body and I can't change the fact that god gave me my two apples of boobs.
"Shut up", I scream at him, plugging my ears with my hands and letting out a loud groan. "I'm okay with my body and I'm straight". Perfect timing: the bell rings and I jump out of the chair I was sitting in. "Can I go now?" He nodded, walking out with me.
"Just understand", he started as my eyes gazed over to my friends walking over to me. "If you have any questions please come to me. I may not be a girl, but guys go through things as much as girls do. We all deserve to be counted as equals. Or if you, ever, do question your-"
"I'm straight", I scream, making everyone stop and look at me in the halls. "I'm straight, I'm straight, I'm straight for heaven sake. I will even prove it!"
I turned on my heel to come face to face with a random guy from school. Without even thinking I grab his face and force my lips onto his. It was kinda awkward at first since he wasn't kissing back so at one point I had to push myself away.
"You need kissing lessons, dude", I commented to the boy before turning back to the counselor and raising an eyebrows. "I'm straight. Got it?"
"Got it, Miss Hart".
I smiled in satisfaction, turning to my friends. "Hi guys", I say like nothing happened, but the way their mouths are all dropped they clearly saw every second of it. "Ummm... that never happened, got it?" I warn them all. I just get confused nods in return. Idiots!
