C h a p t e r ~ T w o

Thomas stared at Teresa eagerly "So, what do you remember?" He asked still staring at Teresa -still not blinking- "how do you know?" Teresa looked away blushing, "well you were speaking in your sleep, you were saying my name over and over, do you know me?" Thomas asked pushing her further and further by the second, "oh that, you just look familiar, it's weird I cant explain it." They stared at each other for a good two minutes and then Thomas walked out of the room without saying a word.

Teresa couldn't stop thinking about him that night, whatever she thought of always referred back to him. Why was he so eager to get answers? Was he hiding something too? And why did he keep staring at her? Curiosity blew up in her mind, she had to get some answers. Teresa could remember talking to him in her mind, it was weird but she was sure it worked, so that's exactly what she tried to do. Tom? Hello? Can you hear me? She spoke to him telepathically, and for some reason calling him Tom felt right to her, like she knew him.
Five minutes past and no answer, then Thomas burst through her door, startling her.
"H-how did you do that?" He stuttered obviously confused. "I don't know I just do I guess.." Teresa said drifting off "but anyway Tom I needed to talk to you, um, I think we're special Tom, I don't know how but I feel it, I can talk to you inside my mind, and I feel like you could too, whenever I speak to you telepathically I feel a connection, you need to try.." Teresa was embarrassed, wondering if that was too creepy.
"But how? I can't talk to you telepathically, I tried, and I can't.. But I did feel like we knew each other when you came here, it's really weird but I'll try..."
"Ok first thing in the morning come here, I'll try to teach you."
