Imagine going through a break and Calum being there for you

You were done with Tucker all he did was use you. He made you pay for pretty much everything and treated you like a little girl, you hated it. Now you were threw with him, you didn't feel sad about it but you were hurt. Your feelings were all mixed so you called your best friend, Calum over to help. A knocking at the door drew you from your thoughts, you got up to answer the door. "Hey," Calum said, "How you doing?"
"Honestly I'm not sure," you replied.
"Y/n did he hit you again?"
"No no we broke up for good this time."
"I'm glad you finally dump that douche bag. He wasn't good enough for you."
"Calum I'm not sure I'm gonna be able to date again for awhile. I have a deep mistrust in love right now."
"I can try and help you y/n, after all that's what friends do."
You gave him a small smile.
A few months went by and everyday you'd talk with Calum and slowly you were beginning to like him a lot more than a friend. He was the only thing on your mind constantly. One day you decided to invite him over and ask him how you know if you love someone. "Hey Cal do you mind coming over right now?" You asked.
"Not at all! I'm on my way," He replied.
Ten minutes later he was sitting on your couch. "Calum how can you tell if your in love with someone?" You asked him.
"You constantly think about them and your heart hurts when your not around them. Also because you hurt when they hurt," Calum explained.
"How do you know this Cal?"
"Cause that's how I feel about you, y/n."
