Chapter 2

The next day was a normal school day, that meant no Poppy Pia. I had to go to school at 8:45 A.M. Why kind of idiot puts school that early? First through fourth periods are such a waste! Im practically still sleeping in my English class. Thank the lawd that its easy. Normally I look foreward to music appreciation class but ever since Cody came yesterday Im not. Im really worried that he might spill my secret. Sure I denied it but Im not sure he believed it.

I was sitting at the lunch table with Lucy going over the bikini designs I came up with. There was the pink and brown one finished with the hat. Then the other was a cute hot pink ruffle trim with miniscule flowers on it. Totally adoreable.

"I love them!" Lucy said admireing my drawings.

"I got the hat idea by looking at flowers. It was a total Janice Dickinson moment." I stated proudly. My inspiration comes from those things around me.

"So thats what, six out of ten outfits now?"

"Yeah, Mia said I should add the dress in that I had on at the store but I kind of dont want to. Unless its a last resort."

"That was the cutest thing I have ever seen. Maybe you could put something in the line like what your wearing right now." I looked down at my outfit. I had on a floral print high-waisted skirt, a white tank tucked into it, ad brown gladiator sandals. To add I had on my diamond necklace and thick bangles. Whenever Im in a designing mood I dress nicely as both Taylor and Poppy. I feel as if it might give me some more inspiration.

"No, this is not something I want in it. Besides its already been created. I want something new and fresh!"

"Dont look now but here comes Cody." Lucy said. I quickly shoved my things in my brown leather Indian style bag.

"Mind if I sit here?" He asked politely. Even though I act like such a bitch to him, he still finds a way to always be polite. He must have some mental issues.

"Actually I do. That was saved for, for, for Julia."

"Oh where is Julia?" He smirked like he knew what was up.

"Whatever, just dont talk to me. I have work to do." I pulled out a blank piece of paper and stared at it. I shifted my gaze around the room and Lucy gave me the 'wtf' look. I shrugged.

"Since when do we have vines in our school?" I asked to no one in particular. Thats strange. I bet J.F. rubbed his moustache and was like, 'hmm lets add some green into this area.'

"J.F. is on this go green health kick." Vines! OMG! I grabbed my pencil and began sketching out a somewhat twisted backing of a dress. It formed diamonds. Black and white stripes twisted along the back melded into a flowy black bottom. The front was black as well. I smiled at my new creation. Beautiful.

"If you could pair something with a pair of white vans what would it be?" I heard a voice mumble in the air. I was too focused on my drawing to figure out who asked it.

"A pair of lightwash skinny jeans. But, roll the cuffs up so that you can see the shoes better but dont look too much like a skater boy. It screams beach life turned LA." I rambled. I looked up and saw Cody's smile widen. Shit. I looked over at Lucy who didnt say anything.

"And your sure you arent Poppy because she put that exact thing on me yesterday in Poppy Pia."

"Everyone knows what goes with vans. I mean its not rocket science here. Its fashion."

"Fashion changes everyday. Its like a game of chess. You have to know whats in style now, to know what is going to be in style. Know your moves before your opponet does. Its strategy. That dress you have there is new. Its going to be famous."
