Jake and John stood there in the basement, listening and watching for anything suspicious. Then, out of nowhere, a loud screech came from upstairs. "You told me you lived alone when I asked if I could live with you" John said in surprise. "I do" Jake said shaking. They looked at each other, then ran upstairs as fast as they could to see what was making the sound. When they got there, they saw nothing. Then, from right in front of them, the loud and thrilling screech pierced their ears. John stuck out his arm to where the sound was coming from. Out of thin air, a small creature appeared and hissed loudly, showing its many rows of sharp teeth. It ran for the basement at about ninety miles per hour. Jake slammed the door shut, trapping it in between the wall and the door. Its feet were still moving, so Jake, still holding the door shut, grabbed a nearby baseball bat and smashed it against the back of the creature, crushing the its exoskeleton, then smashing it again, killing it. "What is this house, a demon spawn? It's crazy!" Jake exclaimed. Then he told John to grab the ax in the garage and come back with it. About two minuets later, he came back with the ax clutched in his and followed Jake to the basement.

When they got in the basement, Jake saw something strange. He moved closer to see what it was. When he got there, his stomach knotted. He looked down and at his feet was his parent's bodies, lying there. He felt like throwing up. He said out loud, "John, come look at this." There was no answer. "John?" he called out, but there was still no answer. He looked behind him, and standing in the darkness, ax still clutched in his hands, staring at Jake, was John. There was something different about him. His eyes where a glowing red color. He walked closer to Jake. "John? Can you hear me? Hello?" Jake felt like he was talking to a wall.  "What's wrong with your eyes? Are you okay?" They had to be a foot away from each other. Then, in the silence, John raised the ax above his head, and swung. Jake jumped out of the way. "What the heck are you doing, John?" Then John threw the ax at Jake, who ducked. The ax was now lodged in the wall. Jake puled it out and threw it back at John's head, but this time, it didn't miss. John was dead, all because of Jake. Then out of nowhere, that same screech sounded and the last thing Jake felt was rows of teeth sinking into the back of his head. That was the end of the Jake and John.
