"Oh, good, you're here," Scorpius' sister groaned, their younger sister within her arms. His younger sister was crying and throwing a fit, her silver eyes dark like the River Styx. Scorpius' sister glared at him, expecting him to do something. His sister was a gorgeous, young, minor goddess, her body resembling a seventeen year old mortal girl. Her eyes were brown like their mothers, but her hair was long and matched his. She wore a white chlamys with no extra threads or tassels. On her golden curls, she wore a thin, decorative golden crown like his own that blended in with her hair.

Scorpius walked over to his younger sister's bed, giving his sister a smirk to match his fathers, "What?" he asked as he sat down on the soft bed.

"You could help, you know," Lyra responded, motioning to his crying sister.

Scorpius sighed in disgust; he hated taking care of his siblings. He had to deal with it for a century after Lyra was born and he didn't want to deal with it anymore, "Can't Orion take her?"

"Orion is too busy moping and reading his depressing epics," Lyra said and walked over to him, anger in her brown eyes. In one swift movement, she plopped the young goddess, Cygnus, down on her older brother's chest. Scorpius groaned as the nine year old looking mortal kicked him in the groin.

Scorpius sat up, his muscular arms coming around his younger sister's body protectively, "Oh, Cygnus, what is the matter, girl?" he asked, his voice still a whimper of pain from her well-aimed kick.

"I want mama!" Cygnus cried out, her arms flailing. Out of all the children, Cygnus was their mother's daughter and everyone knew this.

"Mother's here, Cygnus," Scorpius informed.

"Mother's here?" Lyra asked her eyes wide with excitement. Lyra was more of their father's daughter, but when their mother came home from their grandmother, everyone was mother's little child. Even their father.

Scorpius looked into his sister's brown eyes, "She and father...," he chose his next words carefully, especially in front of Cygnus, "Are having some alone time," Lyra's eyes widened and she burst out into laughter.

"Of course."

"I want mama, now!" Cygnus complained. She usually wasn't this whiney and was a very quiet little girl, but something had clearly shaken her up.

"Why are you like this, Cygnus?" Scorpius looked at his younger sister.

Cygnus glared at her older brother, silver eyes connecting with each other, "I want mama."

Scorpius sighed and glared up at the ceiling of her room, "Yes, I know you want mama. Why are you like this?"

"I want mama."

Scorpius sighed in defeat and simply bobbed his leg up and down causing Cygnus to burst into more tears. From the balcony overlooking the palace gardens, Scorpius' younger brother climbed into the room. Lyra jumped in her spot, her hands sparked with white light in defense of her siblings.

"Holy Harry (Zeus), Orion!" Lyra cursed, Scorpius glaring at her for her curse words, "Don't do that! I could have seriously injured you!"

"Not any worse than what I am feeling mentally, right now," Orion commented in a monotone voice. He had dark circles under his eyes as always, his eyes seemed like they were molten silver running hot through his veins. He wore a black tunic with matching black sandals, his usual attire no matter what occasion. He had a golden crown to match Scorpius' own on his white blonde hair. His skin was pale and covered in tattoo's from his training with the Amazonian's amongst the dead in Elysian Fields. After the war with Harry a century ago, all ghosts who fought for Draco and Hermione were given full pardon and sent to the Elysian Fields where they live now completely at peace. Orion was the first immortal to be trained by their kind and was an expert fighter, maybe even better than Scorpius himself, but Scorpius would never admit it. Around his waist, Orion carried a small flask which Scorpius knew carried deadly Night Lock. After an incident a couple decades ago, Orion always carried it with him no matter how angry it made their mother. Orion, after that moment, became an expert on how to make poisons, becoming a god at it.

Scorpius rolled his eyes at his brother's title: O God of misery, sadness, and poison, I bow before you, he thought humorlessly. Scorpius much preferred his title: god of the homicidal, grim, and deathly. He had his father to thank for that. Scorpius, since a young age, was always killing things in the garden- especially insects. He was very creative the way he did it and he had learned since then to control his urges in special ways. Scorpius glanced at Lyra who was still glaring Orion as he marched across the floor to a chair in the corner of the room. Lyra was lucky that her title wasn't so violent. She was the goddess of ethereal beings. She could call upon them and even become one herself, which would come in handy if she needed to escape. He looked down at Cygnus in his arms. Now, she was the luckiest of them all. She had inherited her gifts from their mother and was the growing goddess of birds and rebirth. She, unlike the rest of them, could be seen as a good goddess and Scorpius was jealous of her... only slightly. Cygnus had the ability to grow wings, an ability that was found out the hard way a long time ago, and she could bring things back to life. Her ability to do this only went as far as small animals, but, like his parents, Scorpius knew that she would grow to be able to bring people back from the dead.

"I heard mother was back," Orion said as he sat down, his blonde hair falling into his eyes.

"Yes, she is," Lyra responded.

"She and father are having a reunion in the palace gardens," Scorpius smirked knowing how much the idea of sexual anything between two people really grossed him out. Scorpius, like the war god Theo (Ares), however, was a sex god amongst the mortal females. Ever since he came of age, he got plenty of sacrifices from willing females wanting a god to show them how to really make love. Scorpius never delivered though, since he wasn't allowed out of the palace walls after dark.

Orion made a face of disgust, "Why, Scorpius? Cygnus is here."

"She doesn't understand," Scorpius commented, "And I'm only doing it because it grossed you out so much."

Orion glared at his older brother, "Don't test me, Scorp," his hand fell to the flask of poison around his waist, "You wouldn't want me slipping any Night Lock into your morning breakfast, now would you?"

Scorpius chuckled, "Your threats are empty, brother," and both brothers knew this. Orion would never dare poison his family, no matter how angry they made him at times.

"When do you think they'll... be back?" Orion asked awkwardly.

Scorpius looked out the balcony and to the Underworld sun starting to set on their kingdom, "Pretty shortly, I can imagine. You know they don't like to leave us alone in the palace."

"Yes, I know," Orion whined. Lyra mumbled something beneath her breath as she followed Scorpius' line of vision, "What you say, sis?" Orion asked, turning to her with confusion in his face.

Lyra turned to look at him, "I was just thinking."

Scorpius smirked, "I thought I smelled something burning," which earned a glare from Lyra.

"About what?" Orion persisted.

"Why do mother and father place such strict rules regarding curfew even though two of us are of age?" Lyra thought out loud, "I find it quite odd."

"Maybe us three should ask them tonight," Orion nodded, the idea had crossed his mind.

"I'm okay with that," Scorpius nodded and then looked down Cygnus in his lap. Her head was rolled against his chest, her eyes shut, "Well, would you look at that," Scorpius looked up at his younger siblings, he had a smirk on his face, "This god's still got it."
