Changing his ways

Chapter 5

I was on my way to lunch when I felt someone jump on my back "LYNDAAA!" The girl yelled in my ear "who is this?" I asked.

The girl jumped off my back and I saw that it was "ISABELLE!" I yelled giving her a bear hug "where were you all this time?" I asked holding her arm length with wide eyes "in New York City , you silly I told you" she smiled "ohhh yeaa I forgot" I said slapping my forehead.

See Isabelle was one of my best friends I met her in the 7th grade along with Kayla and Layla. she is 5'3 ,chocolate colored eyes ,black straight hair 3 ins past her shoulder, nice body ,and tanned skin.

"Come one lets get lunch" she said pulling me into the cafeteria.

After getting my lunch with Isabelle I immediately spotted Kayla with Layla "laylaaaaa" I sang sitting down with to Kayla and Isabelle across from me next to Layla. "lyndaaaa" she sang back.

"Girl how you feeling got the flu?" I asked taking a bite out of my taco."no just a little cold" she shrugged it off and bite her taco."little, you nearly missed the whole of school." I told her. she just shrugged and smiled.

"Ready for the party girls" Isabelle asked "Helll yessss" Kayla said while doing a little dance in her seat.

"So what did I miss this week?" Layla asked "oh Lynda is dating Carlos" Kayla said smirking "WHATT!!??" Isabelle yelled with her eyes popping out of her head "I'm gone for one week and you get a boyfriend!"she yelled at me.

"Calm down no one is dating no one, Kayla is just being Kayla" I said giving Kayla the seriously-look. "you know who I find cute?" Layla said blushing "who?" Kayla, Isabelle and I asked in unison.

Layla looked both ways and whispered "Brian" "AAHHHHH!!!" we screamed "he is a hottie Layla" Isabelle said. "girl I live with you and you say anything" Kayla told Layla "I didn't say anything because you were going to judge me" Layla said hiding her face.

That's was true Kayla was always judging Layla on everything. "that's true you always judge her" I told Kayla "well I'm sorry Layla I don't mean to judge and make you feel bad" Kayla got up and hugged Layla. "it's okay" she smiled.

Kayla was the oldest out of the two and in our little group it was from oldest to youngest me,Isabelle, Kayla and Layla.

"Awwwwwww you two are going to make me cry" I joked wiping my invisible tears. Isabelle laughed while throwing a napkin at me.

While I made eye contact with Carlos.

He put this devilish grin on his face got up from his table and started walking to me. "oh oh here comes Lynda's lover" Kayla nudged my arm "shut the fu- heyy" I said when Carlos finally approached us "hey princess" he scooted over Isabelle and sat across me.

"Ready for that date tomorrow?" he asked winking.I sighed "yea sure why not" "cheer up princess it will be the best day of your life" he smirked "the best day of my life will be when you disappear out of my life". I replied narrowing my eyes "that's hurts princess, we both know that" he stopped talking got up a little out his lips on my ears and whispered "you want me" he got up completely gave me a kiss on the cheek and walked away so I wouldn't respond.

When I looked at my friends I saw that their mouths were wide open and right when they were about to say something the bell rang and I left to the library.

"Okay class there is only 15mins left until the weekend so I want you to pair up for this project" Ms.ivy said "the project is a report on the author of the book that we are going to read next, a wrinkle in time, now pair up".

"Hey Lynda do you want to be my partner?" Nicole asked me "um y-" I was cut off "sorry Nicole but she is with me" Carlos told her smiling and winking "okay" she giggled.
