The Wookiee's Princess

Intro

One sunny day Chewbacca
was watching for the hunting party. When he spotted them emerging from the woods, they had a Little baby girl wrapped in a clean hunting bag. They found her in the trees. The girl was about 3 months old. No one knew where she came from or how she got there. So they named her Alani, which means wookiee girl.

A Jedi star fighter crash landed near the wookiee town. A group them went to see who it was. none of them spoke Basic except for the five-year-old girl who had been taught by another traveler who had come to the village. They called Alani to communicate with the Jedi girl who had crashed.

"who are you and how did you crash?" Alani asked in a soft yet hesitating voice

"I am padawan Karalah and One of my engines malfunctioned. It will just be a quick repair." Karalah said.

"Come sit for a minute." Offered Alani, "Chewbacca is more than cable to help fix your engine."

Karalah didn't seem to have a choice. She let Alani lead her to a little over look of the forest.

"How did you get here?" Karalah questioned.

"no one knows." She answered. Alani talked about her life with the Wookiee's and some odd things that had happened and when Karalah pieced them all together she thought Alani might be Force sensitive enough to be a Jedi. Karalah asked if she could give Alani a test to see if she could be a jedi. Alani was hesitant at first but Karalah assured her it would do no harm to her. Sure enough, she was Force sensitive.

Once Chewbacca finished with Karalah's ship she proposed taking Alani to her fellow Jedi. At first she thought they'd kill her on spot but, with hours of convincing, they gave in. It was the best place for their little Wookiee girl. Alani was ecstatic to be going with Karalah, yet at the same time she was terrified to leave her tribe.

Alani has been in training at the Jedi Temple for eight years now. she and five other young Jedi will be observed in by superior Jedi in a training session in the hopes that one of them would be selected to become a Padawan. Alani works her hardest and makes sure to show off her most risky shots with her Wookiee cross bow.

After physical training she drags her self in to her room and flops down on her bed only for her to here master Yoda's voice to come over her comlink with the message;  "Alani please report to the counsel room."

"Yes master." Alani said sighing. When she arrives she sees a female Jedi master standing in the middle of the room. She feels a little tug as if she recognizes that person. The woman has long brown hair braided down her back, contrasting with her black cloak. Alani sensed the women's anticipation. Alani stopped about a foot behind the women and didn't dare to move a muscle as master Yoda started to speak.

"Alani you have been chosen by Karalah to be her new padawon."Master Yoda announced. Alani could feel her heart start to beat faster as she considered actually being someone's apprentice.
