Alan's POV
"Kellin if you don't mind me asking but what caused this. It sounds a lot more then just voices in your head." Mr.Fuentes asks.
"Uh, well um, I'm a paranoid schizophrenic." Kellin says. The room is silent. They all look at Kellin, which makes him put his head down. Vic puts both arms around him and hugs him tightly. I see Vic moving mouth but I can't hear what he is saying. I see Kellin slightly shake his head yes or just nodding. They pulls away and I give him a hug.
"I don't know what Vic said but I want to tell you that it doesn't matter if you have an illness or not. Your still the same Kellin we all know and love. And I'm proud of you for telling people you are. I'm very proud of you Kellin.
"T-thank you Alan. It really means a lot." I pull away and smile at him. Austin brings him into a hug and mumbles a few thing to him. They pull away and Kellin rolls his eyes at Austin. I look at him questionable. He mouth, 'I'll tell you later.' I nod my head yes.
"Kellin, thank you for telling us this. We want you to know that we won't treat or look at you differently. We feel very generous than you have told us this." Mrs.Fuentes says. Mike, Tony, and Jaime all nod in agreement.
"I don't believe I know you too." Mr.Fuentes says.
"Hello, I'm Austin and this is my boyfriend Alan. We are friends of Vic's. Nice to finally meet you both." Austin says. We both get up and shake Vic's parents hands.
"Nice to meet you boys." Mrs.Fuentes says. We both nod.
"We are going to go up to my room. Is that alright mama?" Vic asks.
"That is fine. Are the three of them sleeping over?" Mrs.Fuentes asks. Vic looks at me and Austin and slightly nods his head yes at us. We both smile at him and nod saying yes. We look over at Kellin who is spaced out, but we definitely know he is staying over.
"Yeah, all three of them." Vic answers.
"Okay that's fine. Have fun boys." We all walk up to Vic's room, kick off our shoes and we sit on his bed. Kellin is sitting with his knees to chest staring off into space mumbling incoherent words. Vic is rubbing his back softly.
"If we talk would we break him out of his trance?" Austin asks.
"No not really. You have to be talking to him or shake him gently." I answer.
"Yeah I was trying to talk to him in the car and unless I called his name he was kinda here kinda out." Vic says.
"It's not right that his parents won't buy him his medication." Austin says with pursed lips.
"I know, that's how his parents are. I wonder if his parents changed since we where little," I say. The two boys look at me questionably. "They use to abusive him, and not give him his medication, and not treat him properly." I say. The two of them nod there head slowly.
"No parent should ever treat there kids like that. My parents are never around but every once and awhile they come home and check up on me." Austin says.
"Yeah, same. Both my parents work a lot of hours which leaves me to take care of Mike, or they leave on business trips but they also call and check up on us." Vic chimes in. We nod.
"Can Kellin get worse then this?" Austin asks.
"Yes, he can start having more freak outs, paranoia, and can start talking to himself and inanimate objects." I say.
"Have you ever seen him talk to inanimate objects?" Vic asks.
"Yeah. We where around 12 and he started to talk to his lunch, then to his fork. Then he just started to talk to himself." I answer with a tight smile.
