"Your it!" 12 year old Y/n L/n ran after Kai Smith Flamey. (everyone keeps changing his last name IDFK!) They've been the best of friends since preschool. Y/n had the biggest smile on her face as she gained on her best friend. Once she tacked him they wrestled around in the grass till he had her pinned to the ground. "Got ya Y/n!" Kai laughed with his eyes closed, not noticing the blush that crept onto the h/c haired girls cheeks.
"Nya help!" She yelled.
Next thing you know, Nya and Y/n are tickling Kai as his laugh filled their ears.

Your POV
I walked down the hall towards History with Ms. Misako. My h/c hair was hidden by my f/c hoodie. Ever since we graduated middle school, we kept drifting apart, hell, not even Nya talks to me anymore.
"Y/n!! Wait up!"
Here comes the only boy who can make me smile in this hell. Cole Brookestone. I can already feel the small smile creep onto my face when I noticed the cake crumbs all over his face. "Seriously how fast can you move?" He asks, taking the napkin I offered him and wiping his face. "Well when your constantly trying not to be late and running from jerks you pick up a thing or two, and speaking of late we gotta go." I grabbed his hand and we ran towards History class.
"Jay Walker?" Jerk
"Here."
"Skylor Chen?" Bigger Jerk
"Here."
"Cole Brookestone?" My best friend
"Here."
"Y/n L/n?"
"H-here."
"Nya Smith Flamey?" Traitor
"Here."
"Kai Smith Flamey?" Ding ding ding! Biggest Jerk ever!
"Here."
"Lloyd Garmadon?" My other best friend.

"Stop frowning." Lloyd says while he pokes my cheek.
"But I have good reason to frown." I reply.
"But look what we got!" Cole and Lloyd cheer as they each hold up a stack of Attack On Titan and Black Butler Manga. "YOU TWO ARE AMAZING!" I yell with the biggest smile I could manage.
Lloyd's POV
Is it bad that I've read these? I-i mean I only wanted to see what Y/n fangirled over!
Cole's POV
Y/n's smile is so cute!
Kai's POV
Why is she so hung up over them?!"Hey Kai!" Nya cheered as she sat down across from me. "Hey Babe!" Skylor kissed my cheek and sat next me.
"What's up?" I ask.
"Ugh. Miss Looser is all over Cole and Lloyd. Why are they even talking to that? It'll ruin their street rep." Skylor scoffed.
Yup...Cole and Lloyd are popular. Why their hanging out with MY n/n I will never know. If only she knew how much I miss her...
