As soon as I stepped onto the soil, I knew what was bound to happen here. I knew how many lives would be lost, and I wasn't ready for this fight. I wasn't ready for any of this, none of us were. We're going into war and we haven't even graduated high school yet. The ground was wet from earlier rain, and it was below 50 around us, but we were all burning with adrenaline.

I was leading everyone, I was the one who knew where it was taking place so it made sense. Stiles was right next to me, stake in hand. Scott right beside him, and Malia on my other side of me. Everyone was behind us, and I was so focused on what the voices were about to tell me I wasn't paying attention to where everyone was.

I stopped in my tracks when they started screaming at me, warning me of all the death that was bound to happen here. All the pain and suffering and mourning that was going to happen where I stood, it made me feel sick. My breaths started coming a little quicker as my nerves flooded along with it, but something tells me being nervous is a weakness around here.

I swallowed the butterflies, and looked to Scott, nodding my head. He nodded right back to me and I grabbed Stiles's hand. He looked down at me as I looked up at him, his nose still a tad pink along his porcalein face. He licked his lips and squeezed my hand, before kissing me softly. This kiss was like saying goodbye to someone in hope you'll see them again, and it terrified me, our foreheads pressed together when we broke apart. He looked into my eyes as his breath fanned my face, warming it from all the cold air around us.

"Just remember --" He said before shutting his eyes, as if immense pain surrounded him.

"Remember I love you." He whispered as he opened them again, I nodded and kissed him again. We broke apart, and I looked to Scott. I knew he was having a terrible time worrying about Allison back at home by herself, because I was too. He tore his eyes away from the ground and looked up at me, his eyes filled with worry and fear. I smiled warmly, trying to comfort him, but I'm sure I didn't have much luck.

I walked over towards him, switching places with Stiles to grab his hand, his breathing shallowed.

"She's going to be fine, she's the most badass bitch we know." He nodded and squeezed my hand.

"I sent Caroline and Hayley to stay with her I just couldn't leave her alone." He said, and I nodded.

Crunch.

All of our heads snapped to the opening in between two huge fern trees in front of us. When no one came out, I stepped forward, trying to see something. Anything.

"I'll be right back." I whispered. Stiles grabbed my hand, but I tore away from him to inspect more, the stake in my hand slipping down more so my hand was firmly wrapped around it, ready.

"Hello?" My small voice became known.

When nothing came out, I stepped forward once more. My mistake. As if I haven't seen enough slasher movies in my lifetime.

I felt a weight on top of me, and then I was on my back on the floor. The vampire was a young girl, maybe 15 or 16, and she had long dark hair that framed her pale face. Her eyes were veiny and her fang were showing. I squinted my eyes, who the hell does this bitch think she is? I stabbed her in the heart, and her eyes widened before looking down, then back at me. My breath caught and she fell backwards. I stood up, and brushed myself off before looking around and noticing everyone was fighting a vampire.

Scott was surrounded and I looked around me to make sure no vampire was about to pounce on me, and they were all too focused on the badasses focused on killing their new friends. I fixed my vocal cords on the three vampires surrounding Scott and scream, so heavily all of them stopped and looked at the sky while immense pain surrounded them.
