Previously: "Stiles?"
It was barely a whisper.
"Stiles!" I said, this time more clearly, with excitement coursing through my veins while butterflies attacked my stomach. I jumped up from my position, which knocked Isaac on his back, as I ran to the figure. I jumped into his arms, but pulled away as soon as the figure wrapped his arms around me. Why does this feel different?
"Stiles?" I asked again as he pulled away, huffing.
"Actually, Stefan, but thanks for the warm welcome, Lyds!" He said sarcastically, making me jump back and look around the beach.
"Wh -- where --"
"He's still at the car. He doesn't know how to come back." He whispered to me as he pointed to his car, the only one that had a guy leaning against it. As I looked closer, I found the one thing that helped me identify him. His hair.
"Is he safe enough?" I asked and he nodded.
"My work is done. Go get him." He winked.
I pushed Stefan away from me as I booked it over to him. A couple feet away, every worry about his control I've had in the past coming into my mind as one big, huge, worry bubble. I began walking very slowly, mostly to test out the waters. I took a deep breath, surprised I can control myself from attacking him so well. His eyes snapped to mine.
His brown eyes melted into molten lava as my green eyes widened.
No more control.
"Lydia?" He whispered as his entire face held every emotion I'd felt this past couple weeks. All thoughts flew out of the window as I jumped into his arms, wrapping my legs around his waist as he steadied me enough to hug me back. I pulled away and grabbed his face, pulling it to mine with such force, it clashed our teeth together and I gasped slightly from pain. He kissed back with such raw emotion, I got lost in him. He pulled back and wiped away the tears, making me cry even harder as the memories floated back to me.
"Hey ... hey, what's wrong?" He asked and I shook my head as I kissed him again, then a trail of kisses from his lips to his cheek, and then back, before releasing and holding him as tight as possible. He chuckled slightly as he matched my hug pressure before pulling back and setting me on the ground.
"Lydia, you have yet to say a word."
"This wasn't my original outfit." I said and he huffed a laugh through his nose as I held up all five fingers. "That's 5 words." I announced and he just shook his head as he kissed me again.
"I missed you, Lydia. So much." I nodded as I fell into his chest, wrapped in his scent I missed so much.
"I'm drunk." I said shamefully while his arms wrapped around my torso.
"I know, I can taste it." I nodded, my tears finally coming to a stop.
"You going to tell me why you're crying now?" He asked and I shook my head.
"You'll laugh." I sniffled.
"I wont." He said, his voice soft.
"You came back when I'm smack dab in the middle of my period." I sobbed a little and he began laughing, making me hit him on his arm.
"You said you wouldn't laugh!" I yelled and he just kept chuckling as he kissed my lips deeply.
"Want to tell me the real reason?"
