Flame's POV
"You heard me. They're nothing more than mere pets." Nuz said. I lifted my head up enough to where my bangs moved, showing my crimson glowing eyes. "They are not pets." I growled, my voice changed rather deep and scratchy. I took note on how frightened they are and from the corner of my eye that my siblings are together, hugging. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, calming myself. I don't want to scare my family.... I opened them again and blinked. "They're companies that help you through anything and everything." I said, petting Hiro.
The four looked skeptical but nodded in response. Probably too scared to say anything to me...except Zaro.... "When are we gonna get going already?" He blankly said. I looked at my siblings and they nodded to me. "We're ready..." I responded as I stood up with Hiro on my shoulder. My siblings stood up and walked to me, smiling and I smiled back. The other four stood and started walking to where Hiro was running to. ...why...? I took caution and we followed them.
We soon arrived to a seemingly large building of some sort. It was made of a gray metal and nailing. I look at it in question. This is...new.. I closely examine it. The 4 zoroarks that awaken us goes to a wall and walk through a hole that's in it. I raise a brow and follow them. My siblings walk in after me. We look around, seeing the inside of it was white with many Pokemon as well.
Sora walks closely behind me and tug on my mane. I glance at her, seeing the worry and scare in her eyes. I slightly nod to her and grab onto her paw, giving her a reassuring squeeze. She nods back to me and we continue our walk, following the small group that awoken us. As I take a few glances around the area, I took note that most of them look at us in either disbelief or sheer hate. I wonder why is that, we've only been on for a thousand years or so.
We soon reach to a section that seems to be a hallway that provides rooms on each side. They point out which rooms would be who's. I wave bye to my siblings as I went into my room, following Zaro. He close the door and flip something on the wall. The room soon filled with light. There was a bed pushed up against the opposite wall with a nightstand. There are drawers about a few feet from the bed, seems like 5 to 6 drawers as well as a desk with a mirror on it.
I glance around, kind of wondering how they got light in this..cave...building thing without any candles. I walk over to the seemingly bed area and softly graze my paw on it. It seems soft and smooth. I sit on it, having my thoughts answered. I glance to Zaro, only to see him looking back at me while leaning on the wall near the door. I glance away, unsure of what to say or what to talk about. My ears flick into his direction just as he clears his throat. "I'm guessing you like the room. Just in case you sneeze a fire or...something, it's all fire proof" He awkwardly says. I glance back to him and slightly nod. He shifts a bit, clearly uncomfortable with the silence between us.
I think for a sec and focus my attention to him again. "So how come you woke me up? After all these years of slumber." I ask him. He looks at me and answers, "There is a war between the Elementals and Recons. The commanders figured to summon you four to help and teach us more skills that will work in battle." I stare at him, completely shocked of the reason. How could a war start and grow to be this intense? I blink a few times, sort of left speechless. I need to talk to my siblings to get their blessings as well. "I am unsure of this, but I will have to consent with my siblings to get the final answer of aiding you in battle." I answered. He slightly nods to him in understanding.
He glances down in thought then walks over to me. He sits next to me and leans forward to rest his elbows on his legs, still sort of in thought. I slightly raise a brow to him in question just before he looks at me and opens his mouth. "How tall are you exactly?" I blink a bit in surprise, not expecting such a question. I think for a bit, "Last I remember, I think I'm about 5' 6. Why do you ask?" He stares at me for a bit, "I kind of expected you to be taller.." I flinch a bit and put my head down in slight hurt. "Ah...soka...Watashi wa darekaga sore o kitai surudarou to omou..." I say. I glance to him, seeing complete confusion written on his face. I raise a brow to him, "Eeeh? Daijoubu?" He continues to stare at me with a blank face. "Uuhh....pardon?" I look at him confused. Just as I open my mouth, I realized that I was talking in my native tongue. I slightly blush and rub the back of my head while nervously chuckling, "Sorry about that. Don't worry about it, alright?" He slightly stares at me then slightly nods. I kind of just sit there awkwardly while he does too. I feel small butterfrees in my belly for some reason. I only get them whenever I'm nervous. I guess I am since the awkwardness as fallen between us once more. He seems to be thinking of something before opening his mouth, only to close it again. I glance to him with a small hint of curiosity. He glances away from me, only raising the curiosity in my mind. I tilt my head a bit, trying to figure out what might be going on in his head.
Come to think of it, Zaro is about a head taller than I am. I wonder what sort of element he can control. I don't recall how he got me to the camp area, I guess I was out cold when he did. I stretch my limbs, still sore from being still for centuries. Zaro pokes my belly area. I flinch a bit, not expecting for him to do that. I cover my belly with my arm and look at him, lightly blushing. "What was that for?" I asked him. He looks at me straight in the eyes then glance away, "I was just curious of something." I raise a brow to him, confused about his explanation. He looks at me once again, "Well, welcome to your new placement til further noticed." I nod to him, still sort of unsure about the younger male. He nods back, stands up, then walk out of the room. As I watch the door close behind him, Hiro pops his head out of my mane and yawns a bit. I forgot he was there. He jumps down then walks over to my lap "This place gives me the creeps." He said, in his usual deep, moody voice. I sigh a bit as I pet him, "I would've guessed. How come you wanted to come here? Where is the others?" I ask him. He sighs a bit and shakes his head. I slightly frown, knowing that through his body language, he didn't know.
I sigh as well and stand. I glance around my surroundings. So this is what the future had become. What had happened while I was away? I walk around, lightly touching everything in the room to get a good feel of what they are. Afterwards, I sit back down on the bed. Hiro crawling onto my lap. I softly pet his head, caressing his horns and ears. Even for a dragon, his scales are soft. "What are we gonna do?" He asks, upset that he can't find his friends. I thought for a bit then sigh, "I don't know, but I do have an idea." I pull my legs in and under me. Hiro gets the cue and sits upright on my lap. I take a deep breath and close my eyes. I hope this works...
