[58] You Forgot Them

She wake up in a middle of a night just to find out that she's inside of a white-painted walls of a building. "Is that my mom?" She asked herself as she saw the lady, crying and almost gathering the attention of the people. Standing with the woman's side is her father with watery eyes. Her parents then looked through a glass window of a room. She went to her parents to scold them for bringing her in this place.

"What are we doing here? What am I doing here? My boyfriend will surely scold me!" There is a tone of panic in her voice. She looked at her parents with irritation when they did not bother to glance at her.

"You are just wasting your energy, child. They can't hear you."

A man in white suit with gold accent appeared in her side. She flashed her confused look to the man.

And the man pointed out her finger inside the room.

"Time of death. 1:37 am."

She heard what the doctor said. She just doesn't know why and how.

"You're now dead."

She wanted not to believe. But she's sure of it.

Because the patient inside the room, the patient lying on the bed, and the patient who made her parents cry is her. It's her.

"We can not save her. She took too much drugs." The doctor said to her parents.

"Any regrets?" The man, who is now glowing with white light, asked her.

She did not speak.

"Do you regret the days you didn't listen to them? All along, you thought your parents wanted to ruin your life, your relationship with your boyfriend, right?"

"Sorry." She sits on the cold floor with her palms on her face.

"Your life ended because you took too much party drug. You did not decline your boy's offer. Of course, you don't want him mad...You can't afford to stay angry at him but you can do that to them."

The man looked intently to her after pointing out her parents.

"You forgot about their lessons. You forgot the persons who only wanted the best for you.... You forgot your parents, child...You forgot them."
