Chapter 2 - Red hair and hot bodies

I finally arrived at Brianna's apartment and got out of the car yelling a goodbye to mum i waited by the door to be let in

The door opened revealing Brianna and Harry "Cassie, your late everyone outside in the pool" she pulled me inside the hall and out the back with Harry trailing behind, i wasn't bothered to make conversation with him, i know the conversation wouldn't last long unless it was about water-polo. 

"CASSIDY!" i started laughing at only one of the nicknames David had for me as he splashed the water "hurry up, come swimming" i put my stuff down next to a beach chair and admired the view, the apartment faced a wide span of water with a clump of trees on either side, you wouldn't think it was much but with how the environment is going, it's beautiful. I took my throw over dress off and jumped in the water.

Hands suddenly enveloped me as i came face to face with David "You wore the bikini" i started laughing again and swatted his arms "your hair" his brown eyes went wide in realisation

"You like?" i was struggling to swim since i couldn't stand "can we go into the shallow end i can't stand" i pouted and realised how stupid i probably looked with hair plastered to my face, David started laughing as he was standing comfortably while struggled. I wrapped my legs around his waist and being the stupid ass he was, he pulled me under the water, i came up for air and wrapped my hands around his neck just as Mia realised i had arrived

"Woah Cassie, getting sexual with David i see" she winked as she pulled her hair into a bun, i winked back at her

"I think your hair is in fire" i smirked as she started to freak out, only to finally realise that i was making a joke about her orange hair, she blushed and turned to talk to Brianna and Harry

"So David how are you? you look different" i ran my hands through his hair trying to see what had changed in him, realising that he had bulked up over the last week "holy crap, what happened? you're all..." i lost what i was saying as his abs stared at my face, he started to laugh again and i felt my face heat up at the thought of being caught looking

"Guys, the drinks are here" we both looked over to see that around 20 more people had arrived along with a lot of alcohol, i unhooked my legs from his waist and we swam over to everyone and i started talking to Mia and our other friend Kate while David went over to his friends.

"Hey Mia, what happened to David, he used to be really lanky, when did he beef up?" i stole curious glances at David

"He looks yummy doesn't he" Mia sighed and i felt a course of jealousy run through me "maybe after i loose a few kilos i'll put my moves on him" i started to giggle as i thought of this clumsy chubby girl trying to hit on David.

"You might want to get a tan as well" she lost her smile and frowned down at me

"We can't all be Greek and have tans, maybe if you grow a few inches he might actually like you" 

"Ouch that hurt" i gave her a sarcastic sad face and laughed along with her, that was the thing with Mia and i, we could make fun of each other and be mean but we both knew we were only joking "i think he's looking at you anyway" i looked over at him and his group of friends to see them all looking over at us, i raised my eyebrow as David and he smiled and shook his head back at me

"Go flirt with him, i think Luke likes you and i want to see him get upset" Luke was Mia's ex, he dumped her because she was apparently too fat 

"Don't worry i would never go for him, he's a pig and an idiot for dumping you" she smiled "and flirting is what i do best" i moved my hair to one side and started playing with it, walking away from Mia and shaking my hips i spread my hands on Davids back "What's cooking good looking" i whispered loud enough for the guys to hear, he turned around smiling, i noticed everyone had sat down and there was one chair left, usually i would have raced him to the chair but since it was flirting time i could use this to my advantage

"Cassie want to sit with us" Davids arm wrapped around my waist his hand rubbing circles on my hip and a shiver went down my side and a strew of images we could be doing ran through my mind "comon' come sit" i was dragged along basically plastered to Davids side as he walked over to the chair, he sat down and i sat in his lap making sure i stretched my legs over the side  to give everyone a good view "if you keep looking like that i'm going to have to drag the guys off of you" i heard a husky whisper in my hair as i felt another shiver travel down my spine" i giggled and wrapped my arm around his neck, to anyone else it would look like we were in a tight embrace but to us it was natural

"I need a place to sleep tonight, mums got a date, so i told her i would be at yours" he nodded his head

"that's fine, but you're sleeping on the floor because the spare room has just been painted so everything is covered" i nodded my head and looked around the party, thinking about how it was going to be a boring night, until i got to Davids house.
