Daria's POV
I woke up with a massive hangover and groaned. Guess I drank too much yesterday night. The girls were still asleep and I needed to go out for a run. I do that every early morning. With my dog. Alex.
He's so cute but scary at the same time, exactly like my trainer. When we run I always try to win.
I walked to my closet and picked a sport outfit then got into the shower. After I was done I wrapped myself in the towel then washed my teeth.
After drying my hair I straightened it and put it in a high ponytail and got dressed.I walked to the kitchen quietly and grabbed an Apple with a bottle of water then got my dog.
"Come on, Alex. Let's go. 1..2..3..Go!" I said and we began running slowly first then faster. We passed the park and after 1 hour and half we decided to rest.
I sat on the grass drinking from my cold water. I saw children running around and playing.
"Daria?" A deep familiar voice spoke. Hmmm where have I heard it before...?
I turned my face and was stunned to see who it was. Holy crap!! What is he doing here??
"Drew?!" I yelled with a grin.
I got up and he pulled me in a tight hug.
We laughed and he put be down."Oh my God I can't believe it's actually you!!" He said and chuckled.
"Well it is." I said and smiled at him. He's changed a bit. He looks more like a man now. No offence though.
"You've changed! Look at you, you're looking gorgeous." He complemented.
I laughed and thanked him.
"You're not too bad yourself." I said and gave him thumbs up.
"You got a dog?" He asked.
"Yup. Alex, come here boy." I said and whistled. He immediately came over.
"And trained him pretty well. Still street fighting?" Drew asked with a nod.
"Yeah. Umm..anyway What are you doing in New York?" I asked confused.
"Business."
"I see."
"So..Umm..how's Kate..?" He asks nervously scratching thd back of his neck.
I laughed at his actions and patted his back.
"Shes fine. Call her, dude. It's time for you to man up." I said wisely and winked.
He looked thinking deeply. And I smiled.
I waved to him walking away.
"See ya later!" I shouted but he grabbed my wrist and gave me his phone.
"Put your number." I did as told and left.
I got back to the dorm and threw the keys on the bar table.
"Where were you?" A sleepy voice asked.
"Jogging."
"Yeah but you usually come back earlier." Kate said with half closed eyes and a hell of a messy hair.
"Kinda bumped into an old friend." I mumbled and smirked at her.
"Huh?" She said confused then groaned and jumped on the couch. Must be having a hangover.
I got Advil and a glass of water and handed it over to her.
"Thanks." She muttered and gulped down the pills.
