Chapter 12 : Surprise Surprise

Daria's POV

We dug into the files, as I saw it. His file. Finally. We will know everything.

"Come on! Hurry!" Kate said nervously.

I scanned the pages then my eyes widened.

"There!"

"1. Get rid off 'friends'." I read outloud.

"2. Get her to join." Kate said next.

"3. Kill the brothers." I said confused. Brothers?

"4. Kill Elijah Douglas." I gasped.

That's impossible. He can't be alive.

"Surprise surprise." Me and Kate jumped then turned around. My jaw dropped as I saw him.

I stared at him in disbelief. How-w is he alive?

"Elijah."

16 Hours Earlier :

I woke up on the sound my annoying alarm. As usual.

"Make it stop." I heard Madison whine shuffling in her bed.

I rolled my eyes and threw the alarm at the wall and it stopped.

I smiled saintly and went back to sleep.

Not 2 minutes later there was loud banging on the door which obviously startled Madison because she screamed and fell off the bed with a loud thud.

I held in a laugh and got up to check who would pay us a 'visit' that early in the morning.

I opened the door to find nothing. I looked down at my feet to find...oh my God. The pink teddy bear Hayes gave me 3 years a go with a note.

I opened the note and read it.

"Who is it?" Madz voice rang in my ears.
I grabbed the bear and closed the note. I told her everything yesterday. I told them all. About the texts and about Artemis wanting me in his gang.

"Quit while you're ahead Bitch. -E" I read the note outloud.

I watched her breath get caught in her throat and the color drain from her face.

I texted the others.

To Darcy:

*Condition Red.*

While Madz texted Kate.

Just then I remembered.

"Madz. What happened between you and Darcy?" I asked.

She looked at me guilty then sighed.

"I kind of slept with her crush."

My eyes widened not only at the fact that Madison slept with her crush but at the fact that she actually has one.

"Who?"

"You didn't know?" She asks with disbelief.

I shook my head.

"Its one of Hayes's Boys."

I scoffed. Ofcourse he is.

"Cameron."

"What?! But I never saw them talk or-or.."

"I know. Love at first sight is what she calls it." Madz said and rolled her eyes.

"Anyway..why would you hurt her?"

"I didn't mean to okay? I was drunk."

Just then everyone walks in but I look at Darcy. Wow. Blank face on fleek. I roll my eyes at my thoughts then look at all of them as we all agree to plan and stop all this.
