To See

Chapter 1

   I was laying in my bed when I heard voices; they were coming from down the hall. I couldn't hear what they were saying and before I knew what was doing my legs swung themselves off the bed towards the door. I opened the door and began to walk down the most elegant hallway I have ever seen. As I continued to walk the voices seemed to get louder. After walking a while I came upon two enormous doors. I slowly walked to the doors and reached to grab the handles of the doors. I pulled the doors opened and walked in to what appeared to be a huge ballroom. There were two couples one to my right and one to my left. The well dressed couple with crowns on there heads , were holding a cream colored blanket and when I stepped closer I could see that in the blanket the woman with a crown on her head held a baby. As I looked at the baby I noticed it's  foot was uncovered. On the heel of the baby's foot there was a birth mark in the shape of a cresent moon. As I stood there watching the couples the couple with the baby handed the baby to the couple in front of them . The man with the crown on his head looked at the man in front of them and said " Keep her safe." All of a sudden everything went black, and I jolted upright in my bed in a cold sweat.
