To See

Chapter 5

After a few hours of working on homework I put it away and scoot away from my desk. The back of my neck is at the top of the chair and I let out the deep breath I took. I look to my window that was now covered by curtains a shiver ran down my spine. I got out of my chair and picked up my phone while yawing "10:00 I need to go to bed" I went over and closed my notebooks and laptop and went to take a shower before bed. The shower was peaceful I walk to my closet and pick out a comfy pair of shorts that were black and a long sleeve shirt that was purple with little pink designs on it. I fall onto the edge of my bed and just sit there and look around the room as if waiting for something to happen.

 As I finally laid my head down to sleep I heard voices outside my room it was my parents. I pretend to sleep just they came in and listen in on there conversation "How long do you expect it is going to be before something like that happens again?" it was mom what is she talking about I heard a frustrated sigh come from dad "I don't know; how long did you expect for nothing to happen she is getting older it isn't that easy to keep her hidden from them" I hear a sigh it was mom she sounded tired "lets not talk about this right now besides she is clueless and if something happens we will figure out a plan now lets go to bed." I am so confused was the last thing I thought.

I woke up to my alarm blaring I groan and move my finger to cut off the alarm of my phone. I sit up and throw the blankets of me and scoot to the edge of my bed. I rub my eyes and turn on my light walking to the bathroom to ready I reach for my bathroom door then remember last night was It a dream? When mom and dad where talking outside my door I did get freaked out last night. I continue on into the bathroom thinking and concluded that it was in fact real and I did not dream it. Realizing that it was't a dream made me tense and a shiver go down my spine. 

I jumped in the shower since I  actually got up this morning brushed my teeth, washed my face and blow dried my hair and ran a straightener through it. I walked to my closet and threw on a pair of skinny jeans that had holes in them a  shirt with no sleeves and baggy that said 'wild & Free' in white on the front with some burgundy converses with a necklace and a few bracelets. I grab my book bag and go to the kitchen I stopped mom and dad where there I take a breath and walk in " hey guys" they smile and mom slides me a plate eggs and I grab a bowl and and the syrup and pour a little in the bowl. I try to act like I was clueless about last night since they didn't know I was awake I finish eating and rinse out the plate and smiled " bye love you mom, love you dad" they smile dad still eating he waves mom smiles " Bye honey love you too" I hear Alex pull up I walk and basically jump in the car. Alex smiles " hey" I smile back "hi" he drove out of my drive way. A little way down the rode " So, will you tell me what happened?" I let out a sigh "Yes" and told him everything including what I had heard my parents talking about last night.
