Jack's Pov

I waited for the sword to end it all, but it never came. Instead, I saw y/n, with blood dripping on the ground, coming from her back.

Pitch took out the sword out of her body, his eyes were wide and y/n fell down, but I caught her before she hit the ground. Now, Pitch were shaking. I looked down on her peaceful eyes, this couldn't be happening, right?

I picked her up in my arms and flew out of the cave, leaving Pitch in shock. The last thing I wanted is to cry in front of my enemy. I flew to the pole to get help from North, he knows what to do.

Y/N couldn't be dead, she was still breathing, so the worst thing I could do is stand there and do nothing.

When I got to the pole North was working as usual, until his gaze landed on y/n. "JACK?! WHAT HAPPEN?!" North yelled as he started to panic. "Pitch stabbed her with his sword.. North, tell me she's okay" I said and North looked at her. "She's gonna be okay, Jack. She's healing herself" North said and I felt like bricks were lifted off my shoulders.

"Take her to your room, where she can get some rest" North said and gave me a warm smile. I nodded and walked to my room. Her face was so peaceful, yet, I could see sorrow and sadness in her. I feel like I owe her one, because if the sword hit me, then I wouldn't be alive. I can't heal like she can, at least not so fast.

I reached my room and walked in. I lied her on my bed, making sure she was comfortable. I found a chair and sat beside her.

I'm glad she's safe. I let out a big yawn and decided it was best with a good night sleep. I took y/n's hand in mine, and looked at her one last time, and so I drifted away to sleep.

~~Y/N*Pov~~

Where am I... It's all black.
The last thing I can remember is that I threw myself in front of Jack..

Jack.. Please tell me his okay. I don't know why all of the sudden I care for him, more than I did.

I figured out I could actually stand up, meaning its one of 'those' dreams.

"Hello? Is anyone there?" I yelled, but the only thing I heard was the sound of my echo. I let out a little sigh before I heard something, something I longed after.

"Y/N, my dear" said a woman's voice. "Who's there?" I said and turned around, trying to find the source of the voice. "I didn't mean to leave you, he gave me no choice!" the woman shouted. It felt like she stood right next to me, shouting in my ear.

"Who are you?" I shouted, but I was answered by pure silence. "I know you're here!" I shouted, now running where I thought it was. "Answer me, please.." I said as I placed my hands on my knees.

"You've come far, y/n" A deep, male voice said. "Father?" I blurted out and looked up, seeing a clear, dark blue sky with a full moon on it. "Can you explain for me what I am doing here?" I said and got up.

"You will find out yourself" he said and I laughed. "How? North said that you'll tell me"
"Let her know!" The woman voice said and I saw the sun rising up behind the mountains. "..Mom?"
