It's A Shucking Girl

Chapter 3: One person: Minho.

A/N: During her dream, when you see this "-----" that's the guys name being blurred out, so you wouldn't see it. Enjoy the chapter!

Minho left me to go talk to Ally but he said he'd come find me once he was done. I'm walking around meeting some more of the Gladers and it feels good. Most of them are very welcoming of me but a couple like Gally and a few others that hang out with him aren't.

Next thing I know some one is picking me up hugging me from behind and spinning.

"Ahhh! Minho! Put me down!" I say laughing.

Only it isn't Minho. It's Newt. "Do I bloody look like that shuck face to you?" Newt says putting me down and laughing.

"Well I mean to be fair I couldn't see you and it seemed like a very Minho thing to do," I say blushing up at Newt. He literally has the cutest smile.

There's a moment of silence before Newt speaks up, "So how're you liking the Glade?"

"It's really nice here and most of the guys here are very welcoming," I reply looking around at all the guys. I look over at Newt and he must've been staring at me the whole time. Those brown eyes are so amazing. I turn to him and hold out a hand for Newt.

"C'mon! Let's go by the fire and dance!" I say pulling Newt and making him come with me.

The little stereo is blasting as loud as it can and most of the Gladers are just bouncing along to it. But then there's me. Who's full out dancing, like using dance technique and all, to these songs.

I look to my right and see that Newt's laughing and bopping along with me. I stop professionally dancing and just swing my hips and bop my head. I feel a set of strong muscular hands grab my hips and swing with me, and they could only belong to one person: Minho.

I put my arm up and tangle my fingers in his hair. Our bodies up against each other, swaying side to side. I close my eyes and just enjoy this moment. Being in Minho's arms having Newt here next to me. Way too soon the music stops and Alby starts a speech.

"Today, we welcome a new greenie into our Glade. But this greenie is special. This greenie is a girl. We will all love and respect her as if she is our sister. We will look out for her as if she was any other Glader. And most importantly, we will make her feel right at home with all us guys!" Alby raises his fist starts a chant.

"Va-ness-a!"

"Va-ness-a!"

"Va-ness-a!"

Minho wraps his arms around me more than they were before and puts his head in the crook of my neck. It's in this moment, I actually start to cry happy tears. Minho hears my sniffles and looks up at me and smiles when he sees I'm smiling.

The chants die down and Alby walks over to me and Minho.

"So, Vanessa. Don't take this the wrong way but, I've decided that since you're the only girl, you could choose one of the Keepers to stay with." Alby turns around and yells for the Keepers. He rattles off there names but I stop listening when I hear the name I want.

"So who's it gonna be?"

I look down at Minho's arms wrapped protectively around me, his chin resting on my head, and say, "Minho."

Minho turns me around in his arms and says, "What? Wait really! I mean cool I'll go put the other mattress in my room." He let's go of me while blushing and walking away. I can feel the smile and heat on my face. At least it's dark I think.

After everybody leaves I go and sit down on one of the logs and watch the fire die out. It's only now that I realize Newt disappeared. He was dancing with me and Minho when my eyes were open, so did he leave when I closed them? I had to abandon the thought because a sexy Minho was walking my way.

"Are you ready to go princess?" He asks smirking and holding out his arm.

"Very ready Prince Charming," I loop my arm through his and together we walk up to his room.

My mind is buzzing with thoughts but I eventually fall asleep, and when I do, I start to dream.

"Hey, Nessa, can I talk to you for a second?"

"Of course you can!" I giggled and followed him out of the white room with our friends and into another. "What'd you wanna talk about?"

"Vanessa, I, I, I really like you. Like I like you a lot. Probably more than any words in the world can explain. So I wanna ask you, will you be my girlfriend?"

"Oh my gosh! ----- yes!!!" I jump into his arms and hug him tightly. ----- puts me down and he grabs my hand. "----- I've liked you for so long and I thought I'd never have a—"

He cuts me off with a kiss. He's a really good kisser oh my gosh!

"How could someone not like you?" He grabs my hand and says, "let's go tell everybody the great news."

I reply with a smile and we walk out of the room.

"No!" I sit up telling.

"Vanessa? Are you okay?" Minho jumps out of bed and comes to mine.

"I was so close. So close Minho. It's right on the tip of my tongue. I just need to try harder." I say letting out a sigh.

"What are you talking about? If it's dajá vú you gotta just let it go, we've all had dajá vú here," he says rubbing a hand up and down my back.

"No, Minho this isn't dajá vú. This is something that voices in my head tell me I have to figure out. And they keep giving me hints but not answers," I say leaning into his strong body.

"Hey, wait. I get voices to. Telling me that something that was taken will be given back, but recently it's been something that was taken has been given back and it's up to me to figure it out." Minho continues to run his hands up and down my back and it calms me down greatly.

Then the voice comes back.

We believe that you have found him. If you try hard enough you can talk to us in your head. Or say it out loud, either one works. So say his name, tell us who your love is and you'll gain full memory of him and everything between you two before. So, ready to tell us?

A/N: Wow, Nessa is just moments away from telling you guys who this fanfic is for and I want this chapter to be long but I also wanted you guys to wait for the reveal. Even if you guys already know who this fanfic is for.  These chapters are coming out pretty long and it's making me feel very accomplished with myself. Hope you're all enjoying!
