Chapter 2: Photoshoot

Rui's POV:
I woke up early due to my alarm going off, I quickly changed into my normal clothes and walked down one of the flights of stairs to the living room and kitchen area I walked into the kitchen to get some breakfast I looked up to see Naomi at the table eating pancakes and drinking orange juice. She looked up from her glass when I walked and rolled her eyes and went back to her food I sighed a little bit and made some pancakes for myself and sat down next to her.

''So we need to walk to the beach and meet our managers, the photography crew, hair and make up and consume there right?'' I said before taking a sip of my juice the only way we were going to get through this day is if we talk to one another. She looked over to me and sighed a little placing her empty glass down on her plate and turning to face me,

''*sigh* why are you trying to be nice to me?'' she said looking annoyed I finished up my breakfast and picked up both of our plates taking them to the sink and washing them before putting on my shoes as she did the same

''we're colleagues at this agency and in the entertainment business. I want us to be good friends what's so wrong with that?'' I said gently, she clicked her tongue and walked to the door,

''friends? Family? There all the same you can't trust any of them I don't need any of that pointlessness in my life I just need to focus on my work that's all I need in my life'' she said before putting her glasses on and walking out the door, I sighed a little and put my glasses and hat on before following her. She must have had something really messed up in her past to make her like this but why was she like this to everyone?

I looked to her figure as she walked a little in front of me as lots of thoughts rushed through my mind I could just feel that she wasn't a bad person or that she wasn't always like this. I had been an actor since I was a little kid about 5 and I knew that she had been an idol from about the same age. What could of happened to make Naomi like this to other people?

''We're here'' a voice said brining me out of my thoughts I looked to my side to see Naomi looking to me I looked forward and saw the beach that we were starting at with the photoshoot since there were going to be multiple locations. I nodded and we walked onto the sand and over to where our managers, Reiko and Hiro were they looked over to us and smiled.

''Rui, Naomi glad to see you both here nice and early okay follow us to where the photographer for the magazine is and he will explain what the shoot is going to look like, we don't know if you both will be here for the full day or just part of the day but I guess we will just have to role with it and see what happens'' my manager Reiko said to us smiling

''no problem, I'll give it everything I've got. Lets make these pictures the best anyone has seen Rui!'' Naomi said turning to me with a bright smile on her face, I knew she was acting but I guess I could pretend that for right now she saw me as a friend I smiled back and nodded my head as we followed our managers to where the first shooting location was,

''Nice to meet you my name is Alex the photographer, your Rui Wakaba and Naomi Tanaka right? I'm looking forward to working with you both today. So the image that we are going for is a new couple, you will be doing things like couples would walking on the beach together, holding hands, splashing in the water together. Later on we will move to the make shift bedroom in the studio and take some pictures there how does that sound to you both?'' Alex said I nodded and looked to Naomi out of the corner of my eye she was smiling and nodding too, ''great so if you could both go to costume over there and change into the swimsuits then meet me back here in 5''.

Naomi and I walked over to the small beachside cubicles and took the swimsuits that the costume artists gave us before walking into the cubicles to change these were my swimming trunks,
