Chapter 12: Christmas

Naomi's POV:

Rui and I took our final bows on the stage, the crowd was cheering as were all the other actors and actresses, the back ups, musicians, everyone. The Christmas play had finally come to an end and it was a huge success with the famous Rui Wakaba and Naomi Tanaka playing the two main roles a lot of our fans showed up over the past few days of the play and tonight was the final showing of it yup it was Christmas eve.

The curtains closed with the roaring crowd still going wild behind them, I turned to Rui with a wide smile and tackled him into a hug which he returned tightly. Our managers walked over to us still clapping along with the rest of the stage crew and cast, they looked to us both their eyes filled with affection towards us they had expressed to us how happy they were that we were together and finally experiencing love properly

''we did it Naomi! You were amazing I'm so proud of you!'' Rui said nuzzling his face into my hair affectionately I smiled and nuzzled closer to his chest with just as much affection. We didn't really care if the cast and crew saw us they knew about our relationship and there wasn't any paparazzi around anyway so we were safe here

''yeah we did, its all over. Now we can relax together finally'' I said looking up into his amber eyes he nodded and pulled me by the hand so that we were following our managers towards our dressing rooms we separated into our changing rooms with our managers so they could talk to us.

''Naomi, you have no idea how proud I am of you and I don't just mean the play or work I mean how much you have grown. How you have learned to trust and love again, for a while I never thought that would ever be possible but you have changed for the better ever since moving to Fuse investigations. Would you like to continue working with them or do you want to return to your old agency'' I stopped what I was doing and opened the curtain to my changing booth walking out now fully changed and with shocked look on my face as I hung the costume back up. 

''Hiro is that even a question I'm staying with my friends...no that's not the right word. I'm staying with my family and my boyfriend I feel that this is the detectives agency I was always supposed to work with and I'm not leaving them I was abandoned by my family once I won't abandon my new, true family the way I was abandoned that's something that I just wont do'' I said sternly Hiro sighed in relief and smiled to me like he was hoping for that answer,

''good then get your sorry butt out of this changing room and get back home with Rui after all you want to spend Christmas and Christmas eve with you family right?'' he said with a wink I smiled and nodded taking my glasses from him and giving him a hug before walking out of the room to find Rui there and waiting for me

''shall we? The guys are in the lobby'' he said the guys had all come to every showing of the play and had always walked home with us every night. I smiled and nodded putting my glasses on as he did the same before we walked into the lobby and over to where the guys were,

we all left the building happily chatting away with one anothe, at some point I had got bored with walking and jumped on Rui's back who just smiled and happily carried me the rest of the way to the agency. The chief was saying how the Christmas tree was up and ready to be decorated the fire was lit and the munchies were baked we were gonna have a karaoke time before watching a Christmas film all together until we grew tiered.

We got into the agency and locked the doors putting up the 'closed for Christmas' sign before walking upstairs and starting to decorate the tree we then all put our gifts for everyone under the tree in little piles one for; Kiyo, Saku, Masa, the chief, Rui and I even one for Yuriko since she was a part of the family. Then we got to the karaoke of course I was nominated the last person to sing since I had the most experience and I chose the only song that I knew would work best in this situation, and of course before that could even happen the chief had found a way to catch Rui and I under the mistletoe in front of everyone causing Rui to show off and dip me before kissing me passionately yeah he thought twice before doing that again.
