Sometimes giving up seems like the only option.
Whether a situation arises or because of school.
Not everything sticks in our minds and we feel helpless,
As the next test or quiz arrives.
"I'm done trying." Is what comes out of our mouths.
Hours spent studying and yet still no success.
We sigh in dismay and prepare to fail the next day.
And sometimes we do and sometimes we don't.
But all that matters is that you tried.
Look towards the positive side.
Try harder and you'll find,
A brighter day at your side.
