Chapter 11

I felt like this song fit this filler chapter well after I reread it and edited it. BUTTTT.....  this is like my new favorite song so maybe I am just bias lol.

Well my darlings after this chapter I only have one more to revise before, finally after 4 years, I get to continue with what I envisioned when I started this book. Today is my goal to try and get chapter 13 out tonight or tomorrow so there is something new and fresh for you all.

~Lyla's POV~

For the past few days, I was able to stay over with Robin and Skylar until I am able to face Alexzander again. Since I was newly named the Luna in front of everyone I couldn't just go back home with my family like Luka wanted me to. So here I am a sobbing mess at Skylar's house. At first, Skylar was a little skeptical about it. I guess since it would be going against Alexzander, his best friend, and Alpha, but once he found how big of a mess I was in the bathroom he chose my side in the situation. Plus, Robin wouldn't take no for an answer if he even dared to tell her no. I'm so grateful for her kindness even if we hadn't gotten to know each other that much.

'Knock knock' groaning as I hear someone at the door I slowly peek out from under the confronter at the door. "Hey, Lyla can I come in?" knowing it's Skylar I groan. He's been very concerned about me since I refuse to leave the bed.

"Whatever," I roll over in the bed hiding under the pillows as I hear him enter the room. 

"Oh Lyla come on its been 4 days and you still won't come out from those blankets. You are such a baby," with that I growl sitting up and chunk a pillow right at his head.

"Shut up ass munch! I am not a baby! I am allowed to be upset with what I found out even if it was before him and I ever met! Any werewolf knows how upsetting that is, because normally we wait for our mate to appear for such a special moment to share, but Alexzander didn't at all!" 

Skylar catches the pillow before it makes an impact with his face as he walks over sitting beside me on the bed, "Sweetheart I know that I only called you that so you'd come out of the blankets so I can talk to you better, and hopefully get you to at least come eat. Robin and I are so worried about you. You haven't had anything to eat ever since that day and you are going to become sick if you don't eat."

"My heart is too broken for me to eat. Not even Raven wants to eat anything. I can't feel anything that is how much pain I am in because of what he has done. Skylar when I imagined being with my mate I thought we would get to share those special moments together for our first time. I understand while he was in school he may have dated other she-wolves because I can be guilty of the same thing... but never in my right mind would I have ever slept with any of those guys... I waited for him... why couldn't he have waited for me..." I begin to feel my eyes fill with tears at the thought of what my mate had done. Then despite my plea to not cry a single tear slowly rolled down my cheek

Suddenly I was pulled into a hug by Skylar, "Lyla please stop... Hearing you so hurt like this kills me because you are my Luna and most importantly you have become like a little sister to me. Even though Alexzander has been one of my closest friends since we were just pups and is also my Alpha does not mean I agree with what he has done. 

I am actually very shocked because he always had talked about waiting for his mate.  So to find out what he did actually shocked me like crazy. I remember them dating for like a couple months when we were in high school. He didn't seem to really enjoy her presence though. That's why he completely ignored her most of the time till he finally dumped her."
