DID I EVER|CHAPTER TWO

   -2 Months Later-

      I was finally going back.Back home that is.No not permanently. I wasn't ready for that and I didn't think I ever would be after all that's where he resided but I'd be damn if he prevented me from going to my hometown. I've lived there longer and I had my first everything there plus I had changed.

   By changed I meant drastically. I knew it, everybody around me knew it(That is people who knew me before nightmare left at the altar)and Hadley well she loved it.You could only catch flickers of my old self my weak self.What was uncomfortable became comfortable and everyday I bathed in the attention and detail of it all.I would like to think I did it for myself but I particularly wasn't good at lying especially to myself.  

    It was cause of him that I became who I am and I had to thank him for that.I wasn't weak I was-

   "Kennedy!Kennedy!Come on our flight just got called!"Hadley says knocking me out of my thoughts.

   "Sorry Ley I spaced out a bit there"I say letting a small apologetic smile slip onto my face.

   "I know you've been doing it ever since we were 13"She says with a goofy smile one her face.
She grabs my fore arm frantically trying to make it before they close the gates.

   We make it just in the nick of time showing our passports. Placing my handbag on the top storage after Hadley places hers.
I take the window seat as Hadley takes the middle.

    "So how's the movie coming?"I ask Ley referring to the new movie she was working on called Invasion of War.
     
      It was a cross over of The Twilight saga and The TV series Walking Dead.It showcased Edwards and Bella's Offspring :Renesmee struggle to choose between Jacob-The werewolve- and Nahuel-The half human/half hybrid-Just as she thought things couldn't get worse zombies start springing up take up space in there territory.(A/N:This is fake and isn't an actual movie)

    "Its going great!I love doing the zombies make up and soon I'll be doing regular make up too!"She says beaming her cheeks flushed with happiness and excitment.

    "That's amazing!"I say giving her arm a squeeze showing her how happy I am for her "So when are you going to ask Lacey to marry you?"

     "How did you know I was going to ask her?"She asked bewildered

     "I'm your best friend of course I know I plus I remember when I was planning my wedding you were writing down all the planners numbers down"I say my smile dwindling little at the mention of my failed marriage.

  Her face flushed once again and she whispered out "Next month"
This is the quietest Hadley has ever been she must be nervous.

   I squeeze her arm once more but this time in reassurance "Don't worry yourself so much I'm sure she'll say yes"

    Just at the moment the plane soar into the air making Hadley scream:

     "To Cali Bitches!!"

    "Nedy!Its been so long!"My mother exclaims pulling me into a -I can't breathe-Type of hug.

     "Its only been two months mom"I say squirming out of her death grip rearranging my black dress.

    "Two months is a very long time"She says sending me a deep frown before her gaze finds Hadley

   "Mrs.Mildew"Hadley greets before diving into a deep curtsy.
Oh!Hadley always one for antics!

   "I'm not the queen of england Hadley!" My mother says grinning amused

    "What's the difference?"She says winking at my mom smiling charmingly

    My mother shakes her head bemused "What are we gonna do with you?" She teases

   "As Ellie Goulding would say'Love me Like you Do'" Hadley screams bouncing at the balls of her feet.

"Let's go get our luggage"I say giggling at Ley's comment

   We grabbed our luggage from the conveyor belt before piling into my mom's cherry red Audi r8.I was in the backseat since Ley had dips on the passenger seat.

    Hadley fiddled with radio till her song came on

   "I LOOVE THIS SONG!!!" She screams putting the volume to maximum level.

     'Rhythm is a dancer,

      I need a companion

      Girl I guess that must be you
      Body like the summer,

     Fucking like no other...'  

   She screams all the lyrics jumping in her seat.Soon enough my mom is singing along with her tapping her hand on the wheel on sync with the beat.

    "Kennedy sings with us"Hadley screams laughing when she notice I'm not sing with them so I do I start singing along whipping my hair around while laughing.

This was so much funs...

But I can't help but wonder.....

'DID I EVER have this much fun with him?
