Camp had started again and Annabeth was the size of a pumpkin.

Or she wasn't, more so her stomach was.

Yes, she was pregnant.

And she's in her cabin. I was with Jason, Will, Frank, Hazel, Grover, and Leo. Plus Piper, she just got here. Calypso broke Leo's heart before Christmas and ditched Camp so. He was single now and doing a lot better. Happier.

As soon as Percy was in eyesight and earshot it was brought up.

"What did you do?"

"I walked up the hill..."

"No, not just now," Piper and Annabeth are kind of best friends now," to Annabeth."

"What about her? I haven't seen her in a while. She lives on the other side of the country from me."

"She's pregnant?"

That had his attention really quick. And he didn't seem too happy about that.

"She's what?"

"Pregnant," Jason repeated," you know, going to have a baby?"

"You seem upset, keep it in your pants if that's the case," Frank told him and Percy looked at all of us.

"I'm still a virgin."

Oh.

You could tell she was ready to pop, too. Like she either was almost to 9 months or had multiple kids in there. Or both.

Like I said, she was huge.

Apollo walks over with Paolo.

No, they're not dating. But a lot of people have money on it.

Annabeth and this new camper walks over. He's their age, right. She said hi to Percy and said she'd be back.

Tension was thick in the air as we all introduce ourselves and Percy didn't seem very upset. Which was scarier than him being upset.

"Hi, I'm Rae," he introduced himself," Annabeth dragged me along and somehow I got in so I must have some role here, right? Who are you?"

"Percy," the son of Poseidon introduced himself, shaking hands with the teenager," Percy Jackson. Just out of curiousity: How do you know Annabeth?"

"Oh, we live near each other, go to the same school," he answered the question," started dating a little over a year ago. It'll be two years in September. It wasn't meant she got pregnant, but life happens, right?"

You could tell he didn't know about Percy and Annabeth, he was innocent in all of this.

It was silent between everyone until Percy spoke.

"Oh."

That was all he said.

Annabeth walked over like she was the innocent one and said hi to Percy and for a while we all talked and Percy did do it. He had the courage to do it.

"Um, Annabeth..." Percy suggested," may I talk with you?"

"Yes, of course, what's up?"

"Alone. Unless of course Rae wants to come along, I'm sure he'd love to hear this, it is his business, too."

"Sure..."

The three of them disbanded.

I was so confused.

I feel like Percy didn't like me or like he was envious of me or something and I didn't know why. I was claimed just recently. A child of Apollo. Maybe he wasn't claimed yet or something.
