My friends hate me, its okay.

Friday came around and I didn't say anything to them about the date because they don't know I'm gay. Daniel might know, I've never outright told him but he talks with Paul a lot and I'm pretty sure Paul figured it out so.

Anyways, they didn't know shit.

"Dude, we should all go to the game tonight," Daniel said and proved me he didn't know anything, " Zach can pick up a guy, we can get some chicks. It'll be fun."

"Might as well," Zach has complained all week about this," I mean, Nico hates me."

"He doesn't hate you," I elaborated for the millionth time," he's just creeped out that you were looking at his butt on the first day of school."

"And plus," Daniel added on," I think he has a date tonight. I haven't heard who it's with. But... I don't know, little T told me this and I'm pretty sure Little T likes Nico so it kind of crushed him."

"You know, it just dawned on me," Zach recalled, " you actually went a week without being asked out the one year you don't have a girlfriend."

Its true. I was asked out four times on the first day of school last year.

Yeah.

Like camp, a lot of rejection.

I ignore that and recall the mistake Daniel said.

"Daniel, you're gay," I remind him," why would you want a girlfriend? "

So maybe I came out for Daniel because Zach didn't know.

"Zach doesn't know that!"

"Well I do now."

"Either way, we should still go to the game," Zach agreed," what do you say, Percy? "

"I can't," I let them down," I already made plans for tonight. On like Tuesday."

"Damn," Daniel remarked," since when do you make plans?"

"Dude."

"Wait, what kind of plans?"

I just gave them this smile like knowing they'd kill me because I didn't tell them I had a date.

"Oh. My. God." Daniel realized.

"What?" Zach questioned.

This was lunch mind you and Nico is a table over with some Juniors and you can tell they're just listening in on our conversation.

"You have a date!"

"Wait, excuse me?" Zach questioned and turned into a stereotypical gay," honey, when, why, how, and who?"

"Um... Tonight, because I can, by meeting up with them and going on a date, and none of your dam business."

They start freaking out on me because I won't tell them.

Anyways, they never find out and after school I walk with them and Nico as they have accepted Nico mainly because of Zach's ever so obvious crush on him.

As soon as Zach seperated from us down his road it was out of Daniel's mouth.

"Why is he so cute?"

We both just looked at him in a halt.

"Did... I said it out loud, didn't I?"

"Who's cute?" I asked," I know you're gay but what the fuck?"

He tried ignoring us.

"Who's your little crush?"

"Shut up."
