"Only you could pull that off Sky" Kyler says as he sits down the next day in science. After not sleeping the entire night due to obsessing over the fact that my necklace is gone, I decided that today was a good day to wear sweatpants, a tank top and put my hair up in a messy bun. I definitely did not look great but I had more pressing matters to attend to.

"Mhm, thanks" I say to him as I look at my paper. I'm supposed to be doing my review for the biology test but I can't focus, I keep going over every place I was the day before and every person I was with. Yet every time I come up blank. I have no idea where my necklace disappeared to.

"-me?" I heard him say.

"No" I said. I didn't know what he had asked but I knew that if it involved him, the answer would always be a no.

"Oh come on, live a little" he said.

"Yeah, sure, I'll do that" I said and went back to going over everything I had done yesterday.

"Come on Sky" he said and grabbed my hand.

I yanked it back as soon as I felt his skin touch mine and said "Touch me again and you'll lose what you touch me with."

"Always a pleasure talking with you" he said and stood up then walked over to Sabrina and Gavin. Finally, he was gone.

It couldn't have been anyone on the team; we were all too preoccupied with practice to steal stuff from someone else's bag. But I hadn't seen anyone else anywhere near us while we were practicing which made no sense. Someone had to have walked up to my bag and grabbed it. If they had enough power to teleport it to where they were they wouldn't need the power that was in the necklace.

I was snapped out of my thoughts by the bell and gathered my books. I left the classroom before Kyler could catch up with me and headed straight to English. We were annotating poetry now so it was a pretty slack class at the moment. And it would give me time to try and figure out who the hell took my necklace.

"Sky, take a breather and focus on something else" Christian said to me when I sat down with him and viola.

"I can't! Someone has my necklace and knows exactly what's in it." I tell him and grab his hand under the table so Mrs. Sparks won't see.

"And stressing about it isn't going to help. We'll try and locate it again after school and if that doesn't work, we'll go to Gran's house and give you the rest of your powers back so we can find it. Everything is going to be fine." I know he's trying to make me feel better but mentioning the fact that I have to wait another five hours before I can even try to find it isn't make me any calmer.

"Okay, I'll try and focus" I tell him and take out my package of poems I have to annotate by Friday. I flip to the next one and lucky for me, it's The Tell Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe.

Since we only have to find seven literary devices in each poem I finish it quickly and move on to the rest of my package. It takes my mind off of my necklace momentarily but once the bell rings, I'm right back where I started, thinking about every possible person that could have taken my necklace.

The end of the day could not have come any later or I would have lost my mind. When the bell to end physics rang, I bolted up and almost ran to my locker. I grabbed everything I needed and met up with Christian and his friends down at his locker.

"Don't you have practice?" Miles asks me.

"Yes, but this is much more important" I say.

"Yes, it is" Christian agrees with me and we head out to his car.
